Gay & Night Interview Preview

Martijn had the opportunity to interview Tori for the magazine Gay & Night and has posted about their conversation on the atforumz Main Tori Forum. Head on over to read all of his impressions but the key news is that Tori wants to record every show from the coming tour and make them available for download and, for the ten best shows, master them properly for release on CD.

The interview will be published in the June issue of Gay & Night and an edited version will be posted on GAY.NL around the release date of the album.

Met het Oog op Morgen Appearance (April 14, 2007)

Tori was on the Dutch radio program Met het Oog op Morgen on NOS Radio 1 today. She performed two songs — “Father’s Son” and “Leather” — and also spoke with host Stephan Sanders about the origins and natures of American Doll Posse and the upcoming tour. The entire show is archived in Windows Media and is also available as a podcast. Tori’s first segments starts just before the 19 minute mark and the second segment around 33 minutes in.

Spijkers met Koppen Radio Appearance (April 14, 2007)

Earlier this afternoon, Tori did the first of two radio appearances, performing a short mini-concert at The Florin in Utrecht that was broadcast on Spijkers met Koppen on Vara Radio 2. She performed five songs:

Leather
Beauty of Speed
Roosterspur Bridge
Almost Rosey
Silent All These Years

The entire radio show, including the concert, is archived and can be streamed in Windows Media for a few weeks from Vara’s website.

Frank recorded the performance and is kindly offering high-quality mp3s of the songs Tori performed for your downloading pleasure.

KataWeb Interview

Fabz and youremyenergy alerted us to another Italian interview that came out of Tori’s swing through Italy promoting American Doll Posse. This one is on KataWeb. In the article, Tori talks about the five members of the Doll Posse, Catholic stereotypes of women and that she feels she can speak more freely now that Tash is older. She also says that the Pope and other Vatican officials are invited to the Rome concert which she calls a “communion of women to which everyone is invited.”

SKY TG24 Interview Clip

A three-and-a-half minute long interview with Tori where she discusses the new album can be viewed on the website for the Italian TV channel SKY TG24. Tori’s answers are over-dubbed in Italian, but it’s still possible to hear her responses to the questions posed to her. Thanks to shineon for pointing this out!

Upcoming Late Late Show Appearance

Cliff noticed Tori in the On Camera Audiences schedule for a taping of the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. The taping Tori is scheduled for is on Thursday, April 26th at 3:45 PM.

Note that this does not mean that Tori will be on the episode of the Late Late Show which airs on the 26th (and since she is on the Late Show with David Letterman on May 3rd and they are the same network, one would think that the airdate might be after that). However, Sue Trowbridge’s Late Night Lineups has Jenny McCarthy on the Late Late show on April 26th and she is included on the OCA schedule for the same taping as Tori. So perhaps Tori’s performance will be aired on April 26th as well.
