Tori On The Current Video (November 7, 2007)

The promised video clips of Tori’s appearance on The Current have been posted! Those clever Current web-monkeys leverage their video distribution needs with YouTube, and have actually posted a slew of video clips of their in-studio guests.

There are currently (ha ha) three posted — Silent All These Years, Almost Rosey and Tori’s conversation with Mary Lucia — and the video for “Leather” should be added soon. For your viewing convenience, they’re embedded after the jump.

PJ's In. How About You Guys, Tori and Björk?

In a recent interview for Spinner, PJ Harvey ‘fesses up to wanting to sit down with Tori and Björk again, like they did for the cover shoot of the May 1994 issue of Q. PJ answers the question about 4 minutes into the interview, which you can view below. Thanks to Jessica Robertson for thinking to asking about this as we know many Toriphiles would certainly like to see it happen — preferably in a studio!

Tori Featured At MySpace Music

Tori was the Featured Artist on Myspace Music yesterday. While the feature is no longer there (yeah yeah yeah, we’re a little slow sometimes—but at least we don’t have unexpected errors!), the goodies from it still are!

First, a radio edit of “Almost Rosey”, exclusively available from Myspace as part of the feature, is now available for download and streaming on Tori’s Myspace.

Second, a video clip billed as a “behind the scenes” look at touring was posted as well. Turns out this is just one of the clips from the Tour Countdown.

Finally, an animated video for “Bouncing Off Clouds” was added to the Video section of Tori’s profile:

Late Late Show Appearance (October 11, 2007)

Tori performed “Bouncing Off Clouds” on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on October 11, 2007. The song was actually taped back on April 26th when she also performed “Big Wheel” for an earlier appearance on the program. That early date explains the trio configuration of just Tori, Jon Evans and Matt Chamberlain (in contrast to the full band with Dan Phelps on guitar on The Tonight Show on October 1st). There was no interview segment — just the performance which, of course, can be found on YouTube:

Yahoo! Music Adds Bouncing Off Clouds Video

The video for “Bouncing Off Clouds” is now available on Yahoo! Music. As has been reported, this video is comprised of a series of still images of Tori dressed as the members of the Doll Posses and is very similar, though not quite identical to, the “Big Wheel” video.

Yahoo! Music’s video player is Flash-based and should work with all platforms. However, if you have trouble viewing it there, it is also available at Sony Australia’s musicbox and may still be on Rage’s playlist as well.

Video Of Triple J's Top Shelf Interview On Jtv

As earlier mentioned, Tori was interviewed by Robbie Buck (Australian Triple J’s Top Shelf radio program) on Thursday 13th of September 2007. This interview was filmed and then broadcast on jtv on Friday 28th of September 2007. In this interview she talks about her alter egos and writes an apology note to Richard Kingsmill for an interview they did together in 1998. You can now view the video here.
