News: Oakland I: Santa Bay-by

Posted by woj on Saturday, December 08, 2007 | Tour

The first night of a three-night stand at Oakland’s Paramount Theatre was opened by Santa who played her usual selections of songs and poured the band drinks while the band jammed before “Hoochie Woman”. Tori’s set featured “Sugar”, “Hotel”, “Caught A Lite Sneeze” and, during T & Bö, “Winter” and a very strong “Cooling”. The full setlist has been posted in the Tour section — swing on by to check it out as well as some early reviews from people who were at the show last night. If you would like to add your review to the cacophony, please use the comment form at the bottom of that page.

While this concert was briefly on the list a couple days ago, it is does not appear to be slated for release via Legs & Boots, presumably because the DVD filming. It’s probably safe to assume that tonight’s show was removed for the same reason. However, we do not know why the third show, which initially remained after the first two were removed, has since disappeared from the list.

Also, as reported by several people, Smitty informed those waiting outside the Paramount before the show yesterday that there would be no meet and greets either before or after any of the Oakland shows due to the tight schedule with the filming and other promotional activities.
