i absolutely loved the show. much better than in 2007. my standouts were flavor, horses (especially because i requested them after our interview and i thought maybe, only maybe she might play 1, but she played both. how lucky can u be…), give (killer opening), siren (always wanted to hear it live), winter (more beautiful than ever) & suprisingly strong black vine (it really kicks ass live). fast horse & precious things were awesome too.
there was no single song i didn’t like. even pandora’s aquarium sounded great, and it’s one of the songs i just cannot get into.
had a great day and that concert was the perfect ending :)

I travelled from Greece to see Tori for the first time ever. On the day of the concert, we were at the theatre at 12 pm. After 2,5 hours of meeting other Toriphiles, a smiley Tori arrived:) Once I introduced her to my mom, who came with me, she was very pleasantly surprised and gave her a big hug and a big “hey mom!”.

      The concert was undescribable.
Give-although I didn’t like it as much as other AATS songs was a great atmospheric start.

Caught a lite sneeze- one of my all time favorite songs performed impeccably.

I could go on and on talking about how impressed I was by her energy, her passion, her devotion to the show. But most of you already know that.

I will just talk about hughlights:
Mother and Winter: performances bursting with emotion-just what those two songs need.
Fast Horse-my favorite of the AATS.

The moment after Fast Horse: some 50 people running towards the stage. I followed as well as others. Precious Things, Strong Black Vine were so powerful.

The Big Wheel encore? Just what we needed to feel like our legs were no longer on the ground.

Tori was more than I could have ever expected: a sweet woman coexisting with a powerful voice.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget about this.

amazing show! tori said in the beginning, that it was home for her piano, the Bösendorfer (which is made in austria), so that she’ll play for her bösey… and I really think she did. and the audience loved it.
“siren” was my personal highlight, she really hit the keys on that one, and the encore was so full of energy, just fantastic… as always :)

This was our 5th show and the second in a row after Prague the night before. Compared to Prague I felt Vienna was a great show, but not as fabulous as the previous evening, in terms of Tori’s ability to hold us spellbound throughout. Or maybe we were just more tired…
On the other hand, the setlist was fantastic. Horses, Hotel, Concertina, Siren, Carbon are among my top favorite Tori songs or any songs whatsoever. Mother she sang beautifully, her voice on the high notes was superb. Pandora was at the top of my wish list so I was very happy to hear it as well, and my wife who normally doesn’t like it said she loved it at the show. CALS was great.
As a general comment for both shows, the new songs from AATS work really well live, and I felt there was much more piano work going on compared to the new album and compared to her comments in interviews about getting away from the piano a little bit. For example Flavor was much longer and richer live.
So – we came out tired but satisfied, and did not regret going to two shows in a row (we never did that before). I just wish we could see more shows this tour, but we’ll have to wait for the next one.

OMG!!! What a show! One of the best setlist of this tour! “Hotel”, “Black dove”, “Pandora’s aquarium”, “Siren”, “Playboy mommy”, “Mother”, “Horses”, “Carbon”, “Tear in your hand” – could you ask for more???

I was overwhelmed and still can’t find the right words…

      Here’re some photos.

    6. Alexandre says:

Tori made me include Vienna among my vacation trip destinations, and it was just amazing. Besides being totally in love with Vienna, which was my favorite stop, watching Tori live was just like a dream! I hope she finally comes to South America soon so I will have the chance to see her show again. Speechless!
