Brilliant show, the best one of Tori’s that I’ve been to. The quartet looked like they were about to shake their heads off, they were really going for it!

Sugar and Suede were incredible, so much energy. Martha’s Foolish Ginger shone in a new way for me.

Precious Things was AMAZING! (warning to photosensitive people, the lights go bananas during it). After it she saw everyone standing and gave a big thumbs up and smiled as if to say ‘it was ok?’

Only gripe (which often seems to happen with her Glasgow shows wherever they’re held) – a couple of songs before the encores people got to the stage and just stood there. This meant people in row B had to get up to see, then row C etc etc. By the end practically all of the front stalls had to stand up (which wasn’t very fair for the person beside me on crutches and some other people). Good luck if you’re standing behind someone a foot taller than you. What can you do? I’ve heard her shouting at security and stuff before for trying to move people on, and it’s sort of expected during encores, but before then it is pretty annoying.

Great, great gig tonight and really nice to see Tori unleash that vocal again. Sugar was the highlight for me as it transported me right back to the first time I saw her play, and you could tell she was really immersed in it – beautiful. Cooling, Toast, Cruel all fantastic, and I have such a new appreciation for Star Whisperer now too – I want a live version!

Thanks again, Tori – I wish I was coming over to Ireland with ya!

    3. Christoff says:

Twinkle was handwritten onto Tori’s setlist but wasn’t on any others. And it was my request. :)

In response to the review by “dimast” i’d like to point out the stage rush was only one song early, rather than being after the last song of the main set it was at the start of it. 5 minutes doesn’t make much difference to whether people can see – they’ve had over 90 minutes sat down with a classic view before the standing starts. Not that i fully agree with the rush, but just wanted to point out the facts!

Brilliant concert btw, she is totally on form :)

    5. Raymond says:

One of the best Tori gigs i’ve been to!

Highlights were Suede which i’ve never seen her do live. Spark and Cruel were brilliant. And so happy that she played Blood Roses and Landslide.

Loved her with the String Quartet too adds a whole new dimension to the old songs.

    6. Ladyhawk says:

Best tori gig ever! Martha was my request :)

    7. Chargar says:

A dream setlist and by far the best gig I have attended. Beulah Land was what I asked for in a letter. It’s so heart warming to know that she reads for her fans :) And the early stage rush was brilliant, she loved it, her energy after it was immense.

    8. catnameseaster says:

I’m still on a high! Probably the best out of the 8 Tori shows I’ve been to. So happy we got an amazing setlist here at home :) She even got two mini standing ovations during the show! – one after Sugar (which was mind-blowing btw) and one after Blood Roses (I think). Absolutely incredible, although was a bit annoyed that at the end security wouldn’t let very many people up to the stage :( Never mind, didn’t ruin the night. Oh and I got to meet Tori at the M & G before – so happy :)

    9. shell says:

gig was amazin! loved the passion & energy of the quartet, Tori was just stunning. Sugar & Precious Things did it for me…and Twinkle, which was included in the setlist last minute because the person it was written for & dedicated to was at the gig that night & Tori knew she was coming, bless x
