    1. Raena says:

Absolutely fantastic. Tori was on fire and the audience was right there with her. Right from the top Tori said the show would be mainly requests so if it felt a “little weird” we’d have only ourselves to blame! Parasol was ferocious! After a gorgeous version of Caught A Lite Sneeze (personally I’ve been waiting for this one for 19 years!) the crowd went crazy and Tori cried out “where the f*** have you been?” The cheers and applause were overwhelming. Bachelorette was off the charts, I couldn’t wipe the grin off my face. Unreal. Iieee was another show stopper. After my Mom and I were literally trampled on during the stage rush (ouch, not cool) I made my way to the stage and Tori treated us with Riot Poof (really looking forward to this), Wedding Day, Northern Lad and Tear In Your Hand. A perfect encore for a stunning performance. My only wish would be to have the opportunity to see more of tori this tour. She is pure magic.

    2. Alissa says:

I am a Seattlite, so I am used to stuffy crowds. The Canadians brought it! She ate it up like her favorite meal, which I believe is why she was so playful and full of energy!

That set was amazing. Virginia, which has always been just ok to me, was brilliant. I never thought I would hear Bachelorette! It was very playful and she was loving it too. The Lizard lounge was so unexpected! Truly, one of my favorite Tori shows! I can only hope she has half as good of a show in Seattle!

This show was incredible. The setlist was a dream! So many songs that I’ve wanted to hear live for such a long time. The audience was awesome and before Tori came on me and my neighbor were talking about what we hoped she’d play. Turns out we both got a lot of what we wanted and then some!

Here In My Head was #1 on my wish list and when she started playing it I nearly lost it.

Taxi Ride was very touching and at the end she had an improv about Russia and South Africa LGBT folks that live in fear—definitely brought a steady stream of tears.

This was probably my favorite set of any show I’ve seen. So thankful to have been there to see her kick the North American leg off!

    4. Toriless says:

I’m from the greater Seattle area and have see all her Washington state shows since her Backstage performance in 1992 before she came back later in the year to do a show at the Moore Theater in August; She has done some really good shows in the Seattle area but it does seem that the Vancouver and Portland/Eugene shows are usually better ON EACH TOUR then the Seattle shows with the exception of the three shows in 1996 at the Paramount or the 5 1/2 weeks preview show. It almost felt like the Seattle show waited until the encore to have the same energy Vancouver had from the start. This probably held Tori back. She was happy to be in America but Vancouver had more energy then Seattle and it showed in her performance at various points. Being the start of her North American tour you have fans from all over the US as well as flying in from other Canadia, such as Nova Scotia, so that probably added to the energy level. I was not lucky enough to be up front like Raena but I was in the crowd up front during the encore and there was certainly no need to be careless. There was plenty of room up front and I lots of unfilled room unlike in Seattle but I’ll get into that elsewhere. As far as Here In My Head goes I’ve heard it several times before (I think she ended her previous Portland show with it as well) and it was as good as it usually is. The covers were fun and I never liked Rio but it kept sticking in my head after she did it unlike the original.

    5. craig says:

Very cathartic show for me, to be frank. Her voice was in fine form, and her energy, charged up from the engaged crowd, lifted the beautiful ceiling right off the Orpheum. And I got to see Riot Poof, finally!

Really happy to see the joy of the guy bouncing up and down when Careless Whisper started firing up (his request, obviously?)

Highlights, for me: Riot Poof, Silent All These Years (sounding more playful again), Siren, Mountain (yes!), Northern Lad.
      PS, those boots!
