Yes, ZERO POINT. So surreal, unexpected & flawlessly executed that it felt like a piece of me died & gone to heaven. She also aced all three covers and added very inspired inflections & flourishes to her own classics. I’ve been seeing her live since 1998 (the Plugged tour), and I’ve been impressed many times over, but I’d NEVER been this entranced & inspired from start to finish. Those of us in attendance who have loved her music from early days were treated to something truly utterly special. My #1 favorite show. Ever.

      OHMYGAHHHH!!!!!

Last night was my tenth Tori show and what an AMAZING 10th! … I love how our molten, fiery desert takes hold of Tori and really allows for a magical set list shift!

Zero Point… You guys! ZERO POINT! I was shocked. It was fantastic and truly, never in a million years did I think she would bust out such a surprise. It was truly unforgettable!

I loved the last Phoenix magic with the Abnormally Attracted to Sin tour. That set! I’ll never forget how silent it was in the venue. You could hear a pin drop because everyone was plugged into the Tori Zone. It was palpable and special and last night was filled with such a special sprinkling of Tori Magic.

Many Toriphiles can account of this magic. It’s an electric current in the air and all you can do is tell your heart to get ready!

Thank you to Tori and fans for a INCREDIBLE show plugged with desert power!!! :oD

I’ve been a fan of the Dented.com website and now undented, and I thought it sad that no one has left a review of this concert so I thought I would start! It was a show to remember.

Beginning of the show: First of all, I loved how the piano is up on a pier. Tori came out, hopped on it and started playing Parasol. What I really loved about the opening number was how the lights and smoke interplayed with the tori and her piano, it made me feel like she was playing in the moonlight under a tree. What you don’t see in the flat youtube videos are two things: 1. the light show and how it has a 3D effect with Tori and the audience. Beautiful. 2. The piano is so deep and LOUD. To me, this is the best part of the live performance: the sound! She always seems so small and meek until she starts playing…

Okay, so Parasol, lovely, amazing as I previously said.

My second favorite song in the show was Icicle, this was the first “moving” song for me. The piano performance is lovely and the light show on this is amazing, lines pointing down towards the audiance. Loved it. Hair standing on my arms….

From Jamaica Inn through Father’s Son, I felt like I was in a comfortable couch and pillow moment, sing me to sleep! Loved it, but very low key, until Real Men,

Real Men: Awesome performance, woke up the audience, and my 3rd favorite performance of the night.

In her talk to the audience prior to the Lizard Lounge she talked about how she fucked up a song the previous night in San Diego, but she would reconcile, but NOT tonight. Interesting story, somewhere…So, she said she had alot of requests and that certain songs are going to come:

Tori played Zero Point. The first row of “Fans” rose, and gave tribute to Tori. Was quite amazing.

      Cloud and Scarlet’s Walk, great.

In the Springtime of his Voodoo, I really hoped she wouldn’t play this, but I feel she does because of the “winslow, arizona” bit, but really this was my 1st, number one number of the night. I loved how she got into the song and rocked it, was fun and so enjoyable…

I was happy she played Cornflake Girl at the end of the show, I really enjoyed the electric purple/pink fire on the stage background. Was on fire. Lots of people are complaining about the track, but I loved it, I think her vocals were a little low, but it added so much to the performace. When I saw Tori in 94, she had background tracks too, and I still love it, especially her high vocals. mmm.

      Encore:

Precious Things was amazing, there was the amazing white flashing lights. I was happy that the venue didn’t have the ability for much of a stage rush. Only 20 people or so rushed. AMAZING!

Bells for Her was beautiful, Wedding Day was even better (LOVED the tracks)

Lastly, in the Purple Rain track, there were two PURPLE LINES runing diagonal across the backdrop of the stage. SO 80’s. I love the tribute to the 80’s!

So overall, was a great night, the audience was great, albiet quiet at times, but that’s okay, Tori played Zero Point, and fucking rocked it!
