What a show! Tori wore an awesome white dress with black ‘wings’ (which kept getting tangled in the microphones), floor-length in the back, but very short in the front, showing golden leggings and gorgeous black boots all the way up to the thighs.
She seemed to be bursting with energy, and kept playing without more than two seconds break between the songs.
There were some technical difficulties, one of which was her earpiece, which she kept loosing (or which didn’t work properly), so she had to push it back into her ear, which messed up her hair in a funny way over the course of the performance (maybe those are pointy fairy ears hidden underneath there after all). In general, the sound engineering wasn’t too good, the bass guitar was turned up so high that you couldn’t hear the Boesendorfer sometimes, and the percussion was a bit noisy as well. Still, Tori's voice came across clear and beautiful as ever, and the whole show was just like a power surge that went through musicians and audience alike.
I loved it! I’m seven months pregnant, and my baby kept kicking me for an encore all the way home. :)

It was amazing!!
The band and Tori seemed to be full of energy and the crowd too – in the end, after Fast Horse, everybody was dancing and/or clapping. Heart of Gold was a highlight!

Wow.. shiver. Tori really rocked the circus. She seemed to have so much fun with “body&soul” and she and the boys did an amazingly flawless version of “hotel”. that’s really one of the live numbers, that reassures you, you’re witnessing a goddess in a show.
“Icicle” really gave me the creeps, it was sooo intense. She sang the verses so slow and not a sound could be heard in the hall except her piano and her wonderful voice. The same with “lust”, “starling”, “baker baker” and “pretty good year” – in the beginning that is. She really roared out “til my baby’s alriiiight”. awesome!! that’s how it’s supposed to be sung!
“Strong black wine” rocked. she really got into the mood and drank it out til the very last drop, and licking out the glass. It’s so amazing see her go off like this – and we stood right by her stool at that point of the show. wooooh.
couldn’t believe, she really played “heart of gold”. I mean, how many times has she played that before, once?? I didn’t even recognize it until she’d sung the first few lines. That was a rocker, too. she just belted it out. great great!
all in all it was a fun show with very sizzling moments; a bit too much on the “best of”-side for my taste, a little too few surprises. but that really didn’t matter after all.
