This show was AMAZING!!! I mean, expectations are always high when it comes to Tori shows but this one just swept me away! Tori looked beautiful in her green dress which complimented the colour of her hair and she seemed to enjoy herself a lot. She smiled at the audience and the whole lot of us was enjoying her being so lovely. Tori said that she enjoyed being at this great location and she really rocked the house! Wow, where does this woman get the energy from? All this passion and sparks being all around – WOW! Are there any words for this? AWESOME!!!

Tori played really great songs that night! It was like fireworks all over the place! I was happy that she played Welcome To England (it means a lot to me) – I didn’t expect it and there it was – so cool!
In the Lizard Lounge she got me crying like a baby when she played Hey Jupiter (didn’t expect that one either) Thank you, Tori!!! She said, that she hadn’t played it at this tour so far and that she would probably fuck it up (which she didn’t, by the way!!! it was – HEAVEN!)and apologized in advance and something like “hey, why not doing it in Düsseldorf? Hmmm … Husband, why not doing it in Düsseldorf? Maybe on the bus tonight?”

From Take It To The Sky onwards it was finally one big party with people getting up on their feet and dancing …

And the location was wonderful: It is like a huge dome making me feel like being somewhere out in space. Tori seemed pretty to be impressed, too as she looked up to that lightened ‘sky of glass’ and mentionened how beautiful this place was.

At the beginning of the Lizard Lounge, she said:
“So… I haven’t done this yet on the tour, which means I’m gonna fuck it up. So I apologize in advance. But you know, I figured: Why not do it in Düsseldorf? You know husband [laughs], that’s the part: Why not do it in Düsseldorf? …on the bus tonight.”
and the played a wonderful solo piano version of Hey Jupiter. Though she seemed to be looking for the right lyrics from time to time and was afraid of the high notes (which she finally hit after the third “whooo-hooo”), she did not fuck up.

Unfortunately, there was no Meet & Greet before the show. We just could see her rushing from the bus to the back entrance.

I was overwhelmed by the Düsseldorf show. This was my fifth show and I never saw her that close, that intimate as tonight. She looked great and started perfectly. She played some surprising tracks such as “Icicle”. I thought – on the way to the venue – that I would love to have “Icicle” on the list, and bang, there it was. She added another pink with “Space Dog” – pretty great as well.

The setlist was ok, I loved the setlist she did in hamburg with so many great songs and I would’ve loved her to sing “Putting the damage on”, one of my favorites. In Düsseldorf she sang “Girl” & “China”, which are probably not my faves, but fine of course. The last four tracks have just been amazing. She rocked the stage on “Strong black vine”, “Precious Things”, “Caught a lite Sneeze” and the amazing great “Big Wheel”.

I was surprised to see her play “Jupiter” during the lounge session as on tour she usually plays this one. So she said she might fuck it up. She didn’t, it was lovely. I didn’t get the whole husband part, so if anybody knows what she meant with that, please explain. Overall I have to say that I was happy she didn’t do “Starry starry night” again as at pretty much every concert I went to, she played that one during the solo-part.

Overall one of the best concerts with tori, in truly the best location ever… I loved it!
