Maria says:
I seem to always forget how BRILLIANT she is live, because this was just the best thing ever. She was so full of life and smiles and enthusiastically kicking her black heel and at several occasions slamming the piano, the crowd was great, the energy .. ah, what a night! Some trouble with the sound through maybe the first four songs, some crackling noise in one of the speakers, but otherwise she and her Bösendorfer sounded excellent.
Highlights: cute improv about liking/loving standing gigs that she did after Curtain Call, if I remember it right, and also Curtain Call, powerful stuff that song. Also Forest Of Glass, which was a first for me, Say Something – of course, she did that one beautifully, the mash-up (love love love), In The Springtime of His Voodoo.. and yeah, I could probably go on! Conclusion: GREAT show, and it might very well be the best setlist I’ve ever seen her do!!
