This concert was, to me, fantastic.

I was at the Rome concert, and though Rome had it’s charm and I really loved much of what she played, especially Body and Soul, I must say that this one was loads better.

First, her voice has really gotten notably better, she hits many high notes and especially on Winter she was simply inspiring.

Second, the setlist was better. No The Beekeeper.

Cruel was almost like on the Plugged tour. Not as long in the end, but she still did the part.

      Favorites are:

      • Tubular Bells/Devils and Gods. The extra verses to Devils and Gods were really nice, built up in the same way as the one on the album, there were two new verses and then she repeated the album one (I think).
      • Caught a lite Sneeze. So powerful, a personal favorite and she really brought the feeling to the stage.
      • Winter. Winter is always an emotional song and Tori’s voice was exceptional. She whispered, hit the high notes. The audience of almost 2000 people were completely silent.
      • Putting the Damage On was very beautiful, also on this one was Tori’s voice perfect.
      • Bells For Her. I must admit that I liked it more in Rome, because it had more feeling. But in this one her voice was a lot better.

I do not really like Isabel. I really dislike Mr. Bad Man, and that hasn’t changed. I was disappointed that we didn’t get Dark Side of the Sun, which is the best Isabel song, imo. Sweet Dreams was wonderful though.

a truly magnificent concert. tori was brilliant. the singing on siren for example was the best i’ve herd in ages. she didn’t talk much but seemed to be really into the playing with long intros for a number of songs (almost rosey, bells for her) and during cruel she was really rocking out. i thought the audience was great, tori got us clapping and stuff when she wanted to, but people were really well behaved. the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and just…great.

What a great show – quite different from Tori’s Copenhagen gig two years ago on the Original Sinsuality tour. But the concert ended the exact way with “Hey Jupiter” as the final song. Se also did “Winter” back then – but last night’s performance is to me more memorable – it was especially beautiful. A few minutes into the song – Tori stopped playing and said “I’m doing this because I like you” or something like that and the crowd loved it! It seems this gig had as well as the previous some references to the fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen. She did sing a few lines from the old song “Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen” used in the 50’es movie about the author (now a days used in the tourism industry). Other highlights for me was “Siren” and “God” – both really powerful performances.

Besides all the songs from the new album every other song were more than 10 years old! she didn’t play anything from Venus, Scarlet or beekeeper.

Her voice sounded great and the band was really into it.

I like the fact hat Tori is renewing herself. But I don't quite get the concept with the girls dropping by. I like it more when it’s just Tori. In a review I read that Tori as Isabel played the theme from “The Exorcist” in between the “Sweet Dreams” and “Devils and Gust”. There was overall a lot of music and less talking and Tori seemed in a really good mood.

      A great show!

    4. Kate says:

This show was unbelievable, it literally stopped me in my tracks. At the beginning, after she played a little bit of the “Copenhagen song”, she said how much she loved the place, and that it was one of her favorite cities on the planet. Bells for Her, was extremely powerful imo, and towards the end of it, when she was singing “can’t stop what’s coming, can’t stop what’s on its way”, she added “not even you” to the lyrics.

And of course, before "Winter" she said, “I’m doing this because I love you”. The energy in the venue was really elevated, it was a tremendous transcending experience for me. it just felt sorta like the stars were aligned correctly for that show.

    5. Asinia says:

I love her! What a person/artist/role-model/healer. Much is to be said about this woman and her music. Of course the show was bewildering and magic. She also decided to play tunes I adore so I couldn't be happier. I just wish one thing from her. And that is that she highlights Jon and Matt more and give them more light and integrate their appearance better with the whole of the show. After all these years they are really part of her as she is of them. Otherwise: FANTASTIC SHOW!!
