Absolutely breathtaking concert. The Winter into Cooling into The Beekeper into Northern Lad progression was phenomenal. She put on an incredible show… I’m literally drained and it’s late so I should hit the sack, but i had to write this. And all of the people who let Hala Tivoli be half empty should be ashamed and feel very sorry that they missed such a concert. It was quite a sad sight, but after Tori came on I didn’t give it a second thought.
P.S. Joshua Radin… I totally looked forward to hearing him live… was a bit disappointed he did not play Closer… but he is awesome. When I heared he was selling his CD I ran to get it. Brilliant stuff.
P.P.S. The setlist above is missing Cornflake Girl. It was played between Take To The Sky and Honey.
"Zadnji rok" - Radio Celje says:
I think that the show was brilliant!
I was really glad, that Tori played some of the songs, that she didn’t on earlier shows (in Poland or Germany).
My absolute Tori’s favorites from tonight show were:
I was missing (really badly!!!):
And i was hoping for some covers (just one, more than enough (ok, not quite true, but nevertheless…), which are really my absolute favorites:
The sound was above average, a few dB’s wouldn’t do us no harm :)) Great sound, even for this kind of venue. Light and effects were superb, audience was also good, band awesome… I was just wondering, what happened to PA during the first two songs (the right channel)? I haven’t made any photos, so please UL some!
Tori was in a great mood tonight, so, i’ll just say: Please, do come again! It was a night to remember!

Tonight was one of the most interesting tori shows I have ever been to. A group of really awesome girls really helped to give the show, and Tori, a lot of energy, and it really positively affected the setlist and the performance. Northern Lad and Voodoo were both awesome as debuts, and Beekeeper was a total shock. She is really pushing herself and its amazing to see.
Colin says:
From the moment Tori came onto the stage as Isabel, provocatively smoking a long cigarette, right up to the dying chords of Hey Jupiter at the end of the second encore, this was a truly extraordinary concert. Remarkably, the hall was only about one-third full, but despite this Tori gave it her all, every song being delivered with great energy and to perfection. Frequently she had the audience jumping to their feet and dancing in the aisles, at other times she stunned them into a hushed silence with mesmerizing renditions of Winter, Cooling, The Beekeeper, Northern Lad, and God. She played for almost two and half hours, and incredibly seemed as fresh at the end as she had been at the beginning. A truly awesome performance and concert that no-one lucky enough to have seen will ever forget. Tori Amos is possibly the greatest contemporary musician of recent times. It’s a pity that this concert was not recorded on video and released on DVD – it would surely sell millions.
Lana says:
Just perfect … This was such a great concert! Not to be compared to the one I’ve been to in Munich two years ago. Unfortunately I couldn’t come to the “meet and greet” because of work, but I’ve heard that it was just amazing. The setlist was great, Northern Lad made me cry, but I was dancing with the rest of the front row most of the time … still can’t believe that I’ve touched her and seen such a brilliant show. Thnx to all the people who made this concert so wonderful! I hope that she’ll come to Croatia for the next tour or for holidays :).
Natasja says:
The meet & greet, the concert, the atmosphere… ‘t was all brilliant. Although it took a few songs before I really got into it, the set was amazing from Almost Rosey onwards.
As pointed out before, the Winter-Cooling-The Beekeeper-Northern Lad sequence was an excellent performance of some of my favourite songs, that quite frankly made me cry (even though I don’t really like the Beekeeper as such, this live performance was absolutely stunning!).
Tori seemed to enjoy herself tremendously, particularly after the crowd got to its feet after the costume change and never entirely sat down again. A truly, truly amazing experience – and a special thank you to the front row beekeepers that made sure a potentially disappointing setting (a quite empty Hala Tivoli) turned into an excellent one.
