Just wanted to update that Take Me With You was on the official setlist, but tori skipped it and played Marianne instead. It is obvious that Tori really loves playing this beautiful venue in Frankfurt, and the show was really awesome.

Frankfurt was a dream. Not only did we get Isabel, but a jackpot of Tori classics like God, Cornflake Girl, Hey Jupiter, Precious Things, Silent all These Years, Bells for Her… If you’ve been a Tori fan a long time, you were certainly rewarded in Frankfurt.

Code Red came out like a call to arms— the audience reaching critical mass, shunning their cushy Opera house seats to swarm the aisles and rock out. It was glorious.

It was an incredible night. I think I speak for all of us when I say, Tori. fucking. rocked.

A very good show yesterday – Tori talked about this being the last show in Germany and promised a couple of surprises and I guess she meant “The Wrong Band” (which she was really nervous about getting it right) and maybe “Tombigbee”. Or else?

In the beginning there was a paper sheet with a song she didn’t know by heart, which she had someone remove early in the show (I’m only gonna need it about 10 songs from now…). Before the encore, someone brought back the sheet and put it back on top of the left keyboard. I don’t know what was on it – Tori she never really looked at it. So either, it was the lines for Tombigbee, and she didn’t need them, or she originally had another song in mind which after all she didn’t play. Well- what do you think?

Tori seemed to be in a good mood. I would say, her voice was not up to full capacity, but very clear. This could also be due to the acoustics in the Alte Oper. As most times, the sound was excellent in the middle of the hall, but not very good in the front. I noticed this when we rushed to the stage after “Code Red”. Many people did came to the front, as you can see in the video clip. I enjoyed my last show of the European leg very much. It was another inspiring evening. Thank you, Tori.

The Frankfurt Show was my only one this tour, but I am SO GLAD to have been there. Tori looked absolutely fabulous and was in a fantastic mood. “The Wrong Band”, of course, was a highlight of the show, but the whole performance was breathtakingly beautiful and captured you from the beginning on.

Tori said that she had a surprise for the audience tonight (she kept asking for the German word of it, but didn’t manage to catch it) which turned out to be “The Wrong Band”.

I personally totally fell for “Marianne”...but as I said before the show as a whole was perfect! I thought the setlist was gorgeous and represented Tori’s musical repertoire very well.

After the show Tori came out and spent about ONE HOUR signing pictures and talking to people, giving hugs and just being sweet to everybody. She sure ruled last night.

      Thank you, Tori! :x

Nobody shared his/her thoughts yet? I didn’t expect that. You guys, the show was amazing! I felt like being in a rock concert. Tori so proved that she his a damn hot rock chick!

My thoughts are not yet ordered but still here I go:

I loved the light show (might have been a bit much for a lot of people, but although I’ve never taken drugs before I would have loved being on a trip and letting me take away by the lights and the powerful music). I used to wish that it would be an evening with a lot of melancholic sad music. But boy did Tori teach me a different lesson: one of how near sadness and anger lie together. Thank you.

She played one of the most beautiful versions of “Silent all these years” I’ve heard so far.

It was really interesting to see how she and the band worked together onstage. I wonder how they can rehearse the songs. It was most fascinating to see, how she draws energy for every upcoming song out of her Bösendorfer during the intro. It looks like something is tearing her away from the keyboard but her fingers are connected to it so she can’t unsnap the bond.

If only it could have lasted forever. If only I could call her from time to time and she would sing to me.

    6. Astrid says:

Best concert I have ever seen of her…I was completely blown away. No words to describe this amazing show.

    7. lenore says:

After seeing the Clyde setlist for Zurich, I was really sad because I really wanted to see Clyde. But Isabel is a classy, sassy girl though I missed Mr. Bad Man, my favorite song of hers, and I’ve never liked Voodoo.

The Wrong Band – what I can I say, this song is special and I am so glad I was at this legendary performance. She did say she would probably mess it up, and somewhere in the middle, she stopped and said “scheisse!” which was really cute.

    8. a.mert says:

The show was totally AMAZING!!! It was my first Tori concert and it was wonderful to see Tori on stage. Firstly, I was a little bit disappointed when i saw Isabel coming ( i was hoping Clyde) but then when she sang In The Springtime of His Voodoo i couldn’t believe because i really like that song!! Then, Big Wheel was better then i expected and i liked Glory Of the 80’s

And Silent All These Years was totally wonderful, i still think that Tori’s voice was coming from the heaven while singing that song. The Wrong Band was a big surprise too, one of my favorites.

M&G was wonderful too, i’m amazed by her patience, she spent a whole hour for her fans and it was great to be able to talk with her :)

Thank you for this beautiful night, Tori :))
