News: Oh Milano! Oh Padova! Oh My!

Following the show in Rome on Monday, came the other two tour stops in Italy on the Unrepentant Geraldines tour: Milan and Padua and, as one might expect from the way this tour has been going, the shows did not disappoint!

Each show featured tour debuts: “Another Girl’s Paradise” in Milan and “Liquid Diamonds” and “On the Boundary” in Padua. Wait, did we say “On the Boundary?” Oh yes we did! For the second time ever, Tori broke that Y Kant Tori Read nugget out for the listening enjoyment of the audience! “Etienne,” also from YKTR, made an appearance in Padua too.

Other songs of note included “Black Dove,” “Your Cloud,” and “Not the Red Baron” in Milan and, in Padua, “Northern Lad,” “Garlands,” and Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus” with the usual inclusion of some lyrics from “Body & Soul.” “Over the Rainbow,” made famous by Judy Garland, and Tom Waits’ “Time” comprised the Lizard Lounge in Milan while Padua’s featured Lloyd Cole’s “Rattlesnakes” and Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You.”
