During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Tonight’s concert at Munich’s Philharmonie im Gasteig marked the final show in Germany on the Unrepentant Geraldines tour and, as is often the case, Tori said farewell to the Germans with a grand performance.
The show included the first appearance of “Flying Dutchman” on this tour, the lost-and-found Little Earthquakes gem “Take Me With You” (which was not on the printed setlist), “Oysters,” “Liquid Diamonds,” “Doughnut Song,” and a trio of Scarlet’s Walk deep cuts: “Carbon,” “Taxi Ride,” and “Another’s Girl Paradise.” However, the centerpiece of the show was the Lizard Lounge which featured powerful performances of Patti Smith’s version of “Because the Night” and Pat Benetar’s “We Belong!”
A pretty hefty selection of songs, for sure!
Thanks to Christine and John for sending over a photo of the setlist after the show was completed. The complete list, as well as a video of “Because the Night” which popped up on YouTube as this was being written, has been posted in the Tour section. As always, ff other videos surface (which they undoubtedly will!), we’ll get them added there — as well as any reviews we receive.
