Great – Great – We saved another security guy who got a wave from her hand to go away. :) He agreed and went to the side of the stage.
She played a nice lullaby song, Did not like “Police Me” (sorry). The rest of the songs was just wonderful and pity this was my last show on the tour.

This was my 10th Tori show and boy what an amazing setlist it was. Surprise after surprise came along. Whenever i see her i think it was the best show so far, but it’s not…so now this show is my favorite one. Her voice was better then ever. She can do anything with it. The venue was great, more intimate than Vorst a couple of years ago.I have to agree with Peter above that “police me” didn’t grab me like all the other songs who were heaven.

This was my second and last show of the tour (I also went to Amsterdam) and it was without a doubt the most special Tori experience I’ve ever had.
I arrived at the venue around 1PM and after two hours of waiting and hoping I experienced my very first M&G. I think there were about 50 people there when Mindy made us form a line. I guess I was the 7th or 8th person to talk to Tori. I was so nervous and don’t remember exactly what I said, except some lines like “Welcome to Belgium!”, “My name is Kristof, that’s like ‘Christopher’ without ‘-errr’” and that I love Lady in Blue. I requested Indian Summer (she didn’t play it) and got a photo as well. She must’ve seen I was really nervous, because at the end she said “You did great, honey!” and then hugged me. Unbelievable! I just felt like the happiest person who ever lived!
I also met Lucifer’s Horses (Hi Flavia!!) and she was an amazing lady to meet as wel. ;)
So that was M&G for me. I then visited a museum in the city and ate a good pizza. Back in the venue, I discovered my seats were really good (the best ones I’ve had so far). I was 4th row, a few seats right from the center.
Then the show started and it was from Give to Big Wheel all amazing. I think Tori kept in mind that there were a lot of people from the Amsterdam show, because she played 15! songs she didn’t do in Amsterdam. Great for me, since I only did those two concerts this tour. Yay! Pancake with the Ohio bridge was pure bliss. Glory and Lust were spot on, especially Lust was so moving. Beauty of Speed was extremely powerful, I loved it a lot. But my favourite song of the evening must’ve been Spark. Again, so powerful and gorgeous. It was exactly how it should be, +10.
Lizard Lounge started very pretty with a lullaby for Antwerp and Merman (with some more ‘lullaby for Antwerp’ lyrics near the end of the song). Love Song blew me away completely. Those “I will always love you” lyrics get to me every time.
Pandora was one of the songs I wanted to hear the most, so I’m glad she popped up as well. From then on the show built up to the move-your-feet finale of Raspberry Swirl (delicious!!) and Big Wheel.
I’m still on a high from yesterday and also a bit sad that it’s over me. But I’m so glad that I had this amazing experience.

It was a fantastic show! The Lizard Lounge part was simply beautiful. I liked all the songs from the setlist, but know I have in mind the two songs from the their very first album (Little Earhtquakes and Precious Things) Why didn’t you guys like “Police Me”? It has the very distinctive Tori Amos’ signature. I like her new album.
Fantastic Tori!

Out of the 49 concerts I saw so far, this was one of the best! What a setlist!!!!! Really enjoyed the special Merman for Antwerp ;o) Tori played this for us “the guy’s from europe” back in 98, at Springfield.
So, that brought back a lot of great memories;o)
It was great to see Christophe and Michael from Germany and Christophe from Paris again ,and also Matt, Elyse , Maria, Kristien, and Melanie. Have a save trip home, see you all in two years ;o) Bye guy’s

My fourth Tori show, and the best show ever!! (although I have to agree with those who say “they all are, aren’t they?”) Probably because I have only ever seen her at Forest so far, and now I understand what they mean when they say that the acoustics are bad! At first I was disappointed that I had payed 52 euros to sit way back, but then I realized that this was probably not such a bad thing after all, since the sound was much better there. I rushed up front with the rest of the crowd for the four last songs, and although I enjoyed every minute of seeing how much Tori was enjoying herself, there was too much of an echo to do her voice and piano justice (although if anyone can give me any tips on how to get tickets in the front row, don’t hold back ;o)
The setlist was all I could ever have hoped for. She played so many songs I had wished to hear live, Siren and Curtain Call to name a few. Merman brought tears to my eyes. My boyfriend joined me for his first Tori show and I can proudly say I converted him :o) (although he was a little disappointed he didn’t get to see those famous orange knickers…)
I can’t wait for the next show…
