This was a great show. It was a little unusual because Tori said she loved playing in a church and didn’t get to often. The first half seems somewhat prayer like. The second half more energy blood roses bliss etc. Jolene was amazing definitely a crowd pleaser. I do not however find the pews to be comfortable lol.

I have never posted a review so I am kind of venting. I was on the right side row g area. There was this fool near me who decided to scream a lot screaming TORI TORI. He was obviously drunk or something. I'm talking maybe five to fifteen screams during each encore song THANK GOD she closed with northern lad bc that finally shut him up because he was crying as was I. I guess I'm writing this just to remind there can always be that one fan who can really ruin it for a lot of people. I mean what do you do in this situation? Do you throw your voice and yell shut up?? I forgot to mention he kept staring at me (we are both gay men) it just really sucked but i posted this bc I know somebody else heard him screaming….so I hope to hear about it lol!!! Peace to tori as she ends north American tour

My first time ever in Nashville and what a cool city! Music is everywhere and everyone I met was so chill and nice.
Despite being hungover from bar hopping the night before I rallied with the help of my boyfriend and a couple double vodkas (I was NOT the guy in horns headbanging — I promise I was well behaved).
I can see how a place like the Ryman would be incredibly inspiring for Tori and it was a GREAT concert.
      A few observations—
She mentioned she had family in the audience and I think, right before Jamaica Inn mentioned Peggy was in the audience from the first line of the song.

She did the slamming of the keyboard cover, and in context of the Ryman it felt like something a sassy church organist would do to make sure the congregation was awake.

The audience went ballistic after she absolutely crushed/killed/stomped Jolene (p.s. I predicted she would play that a few weeks before, so I win). I didn’t realize that the lyrics would be so perfect “With flaming locks of auburn hair”…

For me, the highlight of the evening was Playboy Mommy. I know she talks about how the meaning of her songs change, but that night it definately seemed to be channeling the pain of when it was written. And the line “Somewhere where the orchids grow/I can’t find those church bells/That played when you died/Played Gloria/Talkin bout Hosanah” played in a former church was so devistating and beautiful.

Great concert, and left with some new friends. Love you Nashville.
