Tori put on an amazing show last night. I was so glad we got Pip and Teenage Hustling! Pip was writhing all around the bench and stage and flashed her bum (in tights) as she left the stage. Amazing.
The M&G was awesome, there were only about 20 of us there I finally got to meet Tori, she signed stuff and gave me a hug and air kisses – omg – it was just fantabulous.
Best songs – Rainbow, Hotel, Hustling & Bouncing.
Wow – can’t wait for tonight!

so so so amazing.. the setlist was fantastic! Pip was so good, and played THE WAITRESS which was absolutely awesome. Tori was on fire and she was having so much fun. The setlist was basically one continual highlight, but standouts for me were siren, hotel, and silent all these years was exquisite. I cant wait for the show tonight!

Girlfriend was on fire! Pip wore purple, and the 2 50-something year old people sitting next to me actually left during her act, while she was rubbing her crotch, no less. :( I love some Pip!
Tori came on and did a bum dance for us in her blue sequined suit! She was in a gorgeously playful mood, dancing around! I really loved Bells For Her. When I saw the stagehand tamping the Bosey, I nearly wet myself! Siren was good too, and she went for ages on Crucify and Silent All These Years. I was in puddles by the end of SATY. I can’t explain. Hotel was awesome! I didn’t get what it was at first, and then when she played the opening lines I was screaming! It is such a hot song live!
The Improv… WELL!
“So… I was on the plane coming from Sydney to here
And I was sitting in schmoozie-ass class because they paid for it
So I said thank you very very much
Now, in schmoozie class, I had a plane buddy
Yes, the best 7-year-old that you could ever find in schmoozie class
Who says ‘Mommy, these grown-ups don’t have any manners’
Well, four hours later, in schmoozie class, all of a sudden-
shaky, shaky earthquake, oh my goodness, no turbulence
Uh-oh, I look over and there’s my 7-year-old going like this (starts shaking and rubbing both hands in her crotch) Oh my goodness! What do you do?
I said ‘Honey, we just know we don’t play with our privates in public’
The End”
I told Tori the day after “When Tash grows up, don’t ever let her hear last night’s show, OK?” And she’s laughed and said “Oh no! No. No. Of course not!”
And I cried during 1000 Oceans. It was beautiful! I was an absolute puddle! Not fussed about TIYH, though. It was awesome live, but I’ve always felt it doesn’t match on LE. Anyways, Hey Jupiter was nice. Tori literally skipped off stage!
Brian Ward says:
Finally TEENAGE HUSTLING! Thank you Tori. It was a tiny meet n greet (21 people, all over in 15 minutes). Brilliant show, long setlist. The improv was about the long flight from Sydney to Perth and being in ‘schmoozy’ class (ie business or first class) because ‘they’ (record company?) were paying for it. On the flight, Tash was wriggling and Tori realised she was masturbating. Tori told Tash not to touch her private parts in public places! Very cute. Horribly embarassing for Tash in 10 years time when she hears in on YouTube…

Wonderful as ever! My sister and I had flown over to Sydney for the Sep 14th show so were a little disappointed when it turned out to be Pip who we had seen before but Tori managed to rock it out so it didn’t matter too much. We just would have liked to see one of the other ones! Perhaps we should have gone to the show on the 28th where Isabel made an appearance.
We had awesome seats in the front row but unfortunately happened to be sitting next to the two ABSOLUTE MORONS reeking of cigarettes and alcohol who fell asleep (well passed out probably would be a better word for it). They talked loudly and texted their mates through the entire first half of the show only managing to pass out during the latter parts of the second half after I told them to “Shut the f*ck up”. Why pay good money to see such an awesome performer then miss virtually the entire performance and practically ruin it for the rest of us? One guy even loudly interrupted the haunting and deeply meaningful “Silent All These Years” to ask my sister how to spell a word for the text message he was writing to a mate about football. The funniest thing though was the fact that they were still asleep / passed out after Tori had finished and we were all leaving. I like to think that they are still there snoring away! I really hope Tori was not aware of them because I am truly ashamed of how disrespectful some people can be.
Cruel was an absolute highlight for me as well as 1000 Oceans. I hope she doesn’t stay away too long again! Thank you once again Tori for a wonderful time.
Anthony says:
Thursday’s concert featured a beautifully well played Pip, whose anger and violent on-stage behaviour offended tiny elements of the audience, causing a few people to walk out, but for the most of us it was a spectacular show and she delivered not only the best Tori Amos performance I’ve witnessed (there being three others I’ve attended) but also the best concert I’ve been to this year.
The setlist was excellent; all favourites of mine, all favourites of many fans and no complaints whatsoever. On a personal note, for years I had been hoping to have The Waitress live, and now I have! Words cannot describe how satisfied and overwhelmingly happy with her performance I was on Thursday night at the Perth Concert Hall.
All whom were unable to attend have, sigh-fully, missed something I stand to suggest most of the audience will agree was not only priceless but a night against which any up-coming performance by any artist of her calibre shall be evaluated.
And, as for the following night, Friday just wasn’t as good, but that can be discussed on the appropriate page. Thursday was awesome.
nico says:
during Big Wheel, after Tori spells out that she is an m.i.l.f. she doesn’t sing, “don’t you forget!” and remains silent whilst looking towards the audience.
i got the feeling she might have wanted us to join in for that, but haha i kept my mouth closed for fear of being the only one. i noticed this on thursday and friday night. x
