    1. Nina says:

“I’m sorry I’m late, I was sitting on Quincy Jones’ lap”
It was an absolutely magical evening and my first time seeing Tori without her band. I had tears in my eyes twice or three times during this concert – I know this is not unusual for a Tori Amos concert, yet for me it takes a lot to get visibly emotional!

The audience around me in row 9 was not very appreciative, sadly, but that and the fact that the sound setting was too loud for my tinnitus-damaged ears were the only, and minor, negative aspects. The screens on either side of the stage where you could see Tori up close were a perfect addition to an already surprisingly good view.

My favourite part was when she left after the encore and shook hands with basically everybody who was standing infront of the stage. I wasn’t :-(

I cannot wait for her concert in Zurich where I’ll be sitting in row 2 with more appreciative concert-goers, I hope!
