Tonight was beautiful! Tori was incredible and really seemed to connect with the audience. I was shocked to hear Upside Down, Sugar, and Here In My Head, pleasantly shocked, that is. I could have hoped for one of those, but to get all three was heaven!

Tori was really giving it to the audience tonight, she did a lot of dancing around and grunting at just the right points in the songs. I loved hearing Beauty of Speed live, it’s much different to me than on the album, and was loving Precious Things and Taxi Ride as well…very energetic!

Her improv about what Matt eats for dinner and being a carnivorous eater was funny. Afterward, she kept looking back at him and smiling.

The highlight of the evening was cute glitch in Big Wheel, right before the MILF part, where she got off beat and said, “F***, f***, f***, f***.” The crowd roared.

The only downside was the number of inconsiderate people that ran to the stage before the first encore. The security didn’t let them up front yet, so they just stood there in the aisles blocking everyone’s view. On top of that, they were crude and downright nasty about making a space for themselves and it really was a damper on an otherwise fabulous evening. Hopefully, karma will pay them back for their actions.

Overall, great night! I hope to go to at least one more (possibly two) shows!

Another great show! My second show on this tour and my second Clyde show, which was fine with me. Hopefully she’ll be Santa as promised in Pittsburgh. I was especially excited to hear Upside Down, Here in my Head and Your Cloud.

I also loved the cool lights during Girl Disappearing. Code Red is an absolutely kick ass closer to the show. Love that song!

The security was a bit strict about letting people up front during the encores. I saw Tori tell her bodyguard to tell the security to quit blocking the way after Taxi Ride. A bit unpleasant but hey, otherwise it was a great show.

Forgot to say that Take to the Sky was amazing last night! She played this hysterical part in the middle like “you take it in the morning baby, you take it in the afternoon, you take it backstage… if I’m so horrible, if I’m so old… “ You have to listen to it, I’m sure I’m not doing it any justice at all! But it was really funny and definitely one of the highlights of the evening.

Take to the Sky and Cloud on My Tongue were particularly well done, as was Girl Disappearing, which translated wonderfully live and without the strings from the album version. Nice that Upside Down made an appearance, but I think that the song works better without drums.

There were two improvs: the aforementioned Matt one, which he accompanied on drums, and one in the solo section about starting the tour at age 44 and growing younger as the tour progresses.

This was my first Tori show, and I wasn’t disappointed. I was really happy to see Clyde – my favorite of the Posse. And, like everyone else, I was thrilled to hear Upside Down and Here in My Head – also Take to the Sky was a welcome surprise.

Other highlights for me were her awesome piano on Cornflake Girl and the haunting power of Virginia.

Overall, the colors on the lighting were amazingly beautiful, but the spots were a bit much at times, blinding the audience. From where I was sitting, the audience seemed on the small side, but enthusiastic and good-natured (the kindest I’ve ever seen to an opening act, although I must say he was surprisingly good.)

I can’t say how it compares to other Tori shows, but compared to the many other artists I’ve seen, she was both polished and passionate as a live performer. I’d gladly go to another Tori concert.

I thought the show was fantastic! Loved her snafu in Big Wheel… the set was so diverse that I couldn’t help but love it. Precious Things is always my favorite live. :)

I was sitting in the pit and nearly got run over by the people who were trying to get up to the stage. In turn, I got up and went to the stage because I wasn’t about to be trampled. That was a little ridiculous, and to be honest, I was really disappointed in my fellow Toriphiles for that one. :(

Overall, it was a great night! I have no complaints about it. Tori was great, as always! :)

Ok, so I am posting this a little late but I just got back from my trip to buffalo. Ok, first things first. I had, up until wednesday, never been to buffalo. It’s an interesting town from what I saw. I had platinum tickets for the show and was totally excited with the entire experience. Loved all the stuff in the gift bag, thought the soundcheck was great. The only thing I didn’t like was that I already knew some of the songs that would be showing up for the concert, but what the hell, I heard them before everyone else so i guess it’s cool. I loved the fact that tori had to ask Jon what key Taxi Ride was in.

Meeting Tori was a definite highlight of my year. She was so very nice and so freakin cute! I got to tell her mostly how i felt about her music and thank her for all that she has done, and I hope I didn’t come off sounding like a bumbling idiot. Took a lovely pic with her too. We both look fabulous in it. :)

The show was great. I was very happy with the set list. Clyde was great. Highlights were little earthquakes, Juarez, Upside Down with the band! Also the improv about what Matty had for dinner was awesome and fun. Here. In My Head was so intense. And I’ve heard Cornflake Firl a bunch of times live but tonight that song totally kicked ass. Virginia was sensational, as was Code Red and Sugar, which I will never ever ever tire of hearing live. Also decided that I like Bouncing Off Clouds and Big Wheel much better live.

I was really sad when this show was over as it was my last one on this tour but It was a great way to end it. I had so much fun and it looked like Tori was having fun too. So My bf and I are happy.
