Tori was interviewed by Stephen Sackur on the BBC News programme HARDtalk today. The episode will be repeated one more time today on BBC News at 22:30 GMT and will be available on the BBC iPlayer for 12 months — but only to those in the UK.

Tour Update - 1 June 2009

While a second London show was added today, we’re still waiting for a sale date for the only other city on the tour with a known second performance — Oakland — to be announced. Still, a few other developments on the ticket front for the North American leg have appeared:

• Listings for the Portland show were added to both Ticketmaster and Live Nation. In addition to the iTunes presale on Wednesday at 10:00 AM PDT, there will be a Live Nation presale on Friday at 10:00 AM PDT. To get information about this presale, you will need to register with Live Nation.
• Live Nation added a listing for the Kansas City show, with two simultaneous presales on Thursday, June 4th at 10:00 AM CDT: one by Live Nation and one radio station-sponsored presale. If anyone has any details about this radio presale, please let us know!
• Massey Hall has finally added a listing on their website for the Toronto show. Live Nation has also reinstated their once-removed and much-lamented listing and Ticketmaster has also added a purchase link as well. A FriendsFirst presale will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd at 10:00 AM EDT through eVenue. As far as the public sale goes, we’re pretty sure that, come Friday, Live Nation will redirect to Ticketmaster. One note: Ticketmaster’s sale time is 10:00 AM but both the venue and Live Nation say Noon, so we’ll go with that.
• Ticketmaster has added a listing for the New York City show at Radio City. The iTunes presale is Wednesday at 10:00 AM EDT and the general sale is Friday at 10:00 AM EDT.
• Finally, Live Nation has a listing for the Philadelphia show at the Tower Theatre. Tickets go on sale on Saturday, June 6th at 10:00 AM EDT. As far as we know, there are no presales for this event.

All this information has already been updated in the Tour section, along with seating charts and other other schtuff.

Second London Show Added!

Everything Tori reports that a second show at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, on September 11th, has been added to Tori’s UK tour. Tickets will go on sale on June 2nd through Live Nation. Looks like the actual ticket purchase link, once it goes up, will be a Live Nation-branded page on Ticketmaster.co.uk so keep a eye out there if you’re interested in picking up tickets for this show.

Q&A: Will there be Legs & Boots for the Sinful Attraction tour?

Q: Do you know if Tori will be doing Legs & Boots for this tour? — Lisa

A: When asked about this in a recent interview, Tori said, “We’re planning something again, but it might be Europe this time. It’s a very involving thing, cause you have to work with the venues and promoters.”

Looks like Tori’s hitting the radio promotion pavement hard this time around as Pete Lambert noticed that she’ll be on the inaugural episode of Ceslie Armstrong’s radio show on Blog Talk Radio on Monday, June 1st at 2:00 PM EDT.

Don’t fret if you can’t listen live as the program will be available on-demand afterwards.

The June/July issue of BUST Magazine includes a short interview with Tori. You can sorta kinda see it in their on-line magazine preview (it’s on page 82) and it may be added to their collection of on-line articles but the best way to check it out would be to pick up the magazine on your local news rack or buy a digital issue from BUST directly.

This Weekend's General Sale Reminder

A whole host of dates on the North American leg of the Sinful Attraction tour go on sale to the general public today. In addition to the several shows that participated in the iTunes pre-sale earlier this week (Seattle, Oakland (July 13th), San Diego, Los Angeles, Grand Prairie, Orlando, Washington DC, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Detroit), a bunch of shows that didn’t do the iTunes thang go on sale today as well: Denver, Austin, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Montreal and Boston. Check the Tour section for times.

In addition, don’t forget that the Phoenix show goes on sale on Monday, June 1st.

The Latest on The Q Radio Appearance

According to presenter Danielle Perry, Tori visited the Q Radio studios today and recorded a hour-long special for later broadcast on Q Radio sometime in the near future. Soon as we have any details about when this will air, we’ll spread the word!
