KGSR Music Lounge Appearance Archived

Thanks to Lavendula for letting us know that Tori’s appearance in the KGSR Music Lounge during SXSW is now available for streaming on-demand on KGSR’s Interviews & Performances section of their website. Alas, it’s all wrapped up in an Adobe Flash application so we can’t link you directly to it, but you’ll find it at the top of the Featured Artist tab for now and, as long as Ryan Adams doesn’t swing by KGSR too often, near the top of the Archives tab as well.

In addition, there are a couple snapshots of Tori, Ben Harper and KGSR personality Jody Denberg in their SXSW 2009 gallery.

NME: Welcome to England Single & UK Bonus Track

NME has reported on all the recent Tori news including the new album, the visuallettes and the Savoy Theatre concert. Two tidbits pop out as new news through.

First, “Welcome to England” will be released as a single, at least in the UK, on May 25th, a week after the album’s release. They don’t say if this will be a physical release or only a digital single though, based on many of the questions we got for the still-forthcoming Spinner interview, most fans sure would hope for the former!

Second, in the track list NME posts, there is a bonus track: “Oscar’s Theme.”

Update: Several people have noted that this could be a reference to Oscar the dog, Martian Engineering’s most recent employee. We’d like to hope so but you never know!

The Latest Newsletter: Now With More Officiallicousness!

Earlier today, ToriAmos.com sent out a newsletter update to their official mailing list (subscribe here if you’re not already on it and want to join) confirming the special Acoustically Attracted to Sin London concert and the “Welcome to England” video premiere we mentioned earlier. Updates also were posted the official websites, Myspace and Facebook.

To recap: the Acoustically Attracted to Sin will take place at the Savoy Theatre in London on Monday, April 27th at 7:00 PM. Tickets will go on sale online at 9:00 AM BST on Friday, April 3rd via Ambassador Tickets. One hour later at 10:00 AM BST, tickets will also be available for phone orders from the Savoy Theatre box office at 0871 297 5454 in the UK (more contact information via Ambassador).

Note: Tickets will be limited to 2 tickets per household!

As for the “Welcome to England” video premiere, it will be available 12:00 AM EDT on Yahoo! Music.

Belated Reminder: Pandora's Aquarium

A while back, we posted about a campaign by Pandora’s Aquarium to earn a grant to help survivors of sexual violence to attend a healing retreat later this year. Well, today is the last day you vote to help make this happen! There are still a few hours to voice your support for this worthy cause and all it takes is a few clicks.

Concert Date: London!

Tori will be playing a special one-night solo engagement — Acoustically Attracted To Sin — at the Savoy Theatre in London on Monday, April 27, 2009. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 3rd, at 9am at Ambassador Tickets.

We have yet to put this on the Tour page, and we don’t really have any more details yet. Just wanted to get this out there ASAP.

General AATS Album Info

Just a quick note to let you know we finally put up a vendor listing for Abnormally Attracted To Sin along with an info page on the album itself. You can find both links in our right column under the Upcoming Release heading.

We’re going to be very selective with the list of vendors this time, linking only to the most reliable vendors that have the best prices. Right now, we only have two — their prices are pretty darn good and we haven’t seen any other place that beats them. If you know of a vendor in your part of the world that is a more convenient option for fans in your region, let us know and we’ll add them.

There’s not a whole lot on either page yet, but you will find these three lovely piccies of Tori on the AATS info page (sent in by Konstantina).
