Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.

Wears The Trousers, a UK-based print and online music magazine, has posted their take on Midwinter Graces. Reviewer Alan Pedder turns an appreciative and insgihtful eye towards the release, giving it 4 stars.
Thanks to Bill for the link action!
As November 10th gets closer, reviews of Midwinter Graces should start appearing like visions of sugar plums. Two manifested themselves in the past two days.
First, author and blogger P. Viktor presents a long and detailed track-by-track examination of the album. Undoubtedly, most folks will want to form their own opinion of the album once it’s released but for those who want to get a sneak preview, P. Viktor’s piece is quite in-depth, gives a good overview of the album and is quite favorable to the album
Meanwhile, The Skinny, which brought us one of the earliest interviews where Tori addressed the genesis of the record, has a short critique of the album — and seasonal releases in general. While admiring her effort and singling out a few tracks as favorites, they ultimately give it 3 of 5 stars.
Thanks to Rafferty, Eliot and Chris for the links!
While Simon Price contends in The Independent that one requires ovaries to understand Tori, The Guardian’s Caroline Sullivan demonstrates in her review of Tori’s first night at London’s Hammersmith Apollo that they are not the only prerequisite, giving the performance 2 out of 5 stars.
Lucie S spotted this review of last Saturday’s performance at the Hammersmith in The Independent. It’s hard to suss out how, exactly, Simon Price felt about the show though with his back and forth comments. Nevertheless, it seems to come out slightly ahead in the positive column — even though this male concert-goer never felt the need for ovaries to fully understand Ms. Amos.
Appearing in the September 10th edition of The Scotman, David Pollack’s review of the Glasgow concert critiqued the lack of variety in the performance but recognized Tori’s achievement and talent.
Thanks to Mr. Anonymous for sending in the link!
Tony Collins reviewed last week’s Birmingham concert for the Birmingham Post, giving the performance three out of five stars and calling the concert “absorbing.”
Thanks to Rob for catching this article!
Ben Hurst reviewed last week’s show at the Birmingham Symphony Hall for the Birmingham Mail. Although short on words, the article is not short on praise, calling the performance “truly supersonic.”
Thanks to Bob for catching this one!
Thanks to Jason and Bob for linking us to Helen Tither’s review of the Manchester concert for the Manchester Evening News’s Citylife entertainment website. Despite one use of the k-word (albeit in the past tense), you can’t go wrong when someone calls you a “high fashion space dominatrix!”
Pat Reavy, who interviewed Tori prior to last night’s show in Salt Lake City, also weighed in on the concert in a review for the July 21st Deseret News.
David Burger turned in a glowing review of last night’s concert at Abravanel Hall to the Salt Lake Tribune that appeared in the July 21st edition of the paper, calling the performance “dazzling” and “mesmerizing.” I guess when you’ve got it, you’ve got it, eh?
