News: Book Of Ticket Updates Chapter 1 Verse 1

In what will undoubtedly be the first of many such updates, we learned of a couple ticket on-sale dates today.

First, Ticketmaster added a listing for the Manchester Apollo show show. Tickets go on general sale on Friday, February 23rd at 10:00 AM local time. Tickets are priced at £29.50. Thanks to Kaz for passing on that tip!

Update: Not to be out-done by Manchester, both London Hammersmith Apollo shows go on-sale on Friday as well, but one hour earlier at 9:00am, according to ents24.com. No listing for these two shows has appeared on any of the UK ticketing sites yet though, so we will have to wait and see about that. Thanks to Galaxyguy on atforumz for catching that.

Second, Michel from the Dutch Tori news site tori.web-log.nl wrote in to mention that The Alternative indicates that the Amsterdam concert at the Heineken Music Hall goes on sale on Saturday, March 3rd at 10:00 AM. EverythingTori corroborated that information in a post to Musings & News.

Third, in that same post, EverythingTori also announced that the Copenhagen show at Falconer will go on sale on Monday, February 26 at Billetlungen.dk. Nothing is listed there yet, but I’m sure it will be added shortly.

Fourth, Hotpress is now reporting that Tori will be on the bill for the Oxegen 2007 festival. While the article is available to subscribers only, Google news fished out the sentence of interest since they have access to the full text even if we don’t! The Oxegen 2007 website launches on Thursday, February 22 at 10:00 AM.

Finally, just a note about ticket on-sale updates. When news about a show going on sale comes in, it will be added in a few places. First, the tour date listing will show known sale date for shows in the rightmost column. Second, we’ll also add an entry in the calendar. Note that only the soonest of calendar events will appear in the sidebar of the site, so that may not be the best place to see new additions. Lastly, we’ll get updates, such as this one posted, in the Tour category of the news page. We’ll try to get all three places updated together but, unless the ticket update is urgent, the news page could be the last to be updated. We may roll a bunch of on-sale date updates into one article, such was done here. So, it never hurts to look on the tour listing or calendar in addition to Undented’s news section to check for ticket updates.
