Robert says:
Most amazing Tori concert I have ever seen (though it was only my 3rd). Truly, I was happy with every single song she played last night.
Mike says:
Amazing! I love Tori!
Zane Wise says:
Last nights show was unacceptable from a lady of her stature. Curtain Call was legit. But i felt i was at a middle school christmas program gone wrong. Im sorry Tori but you made me want to slit my wrists and you took away part of my soul.

quite possibly the best musical experience of my life. it was magical. tori was in top form and the quartet was stunning. the light set was simple and complimented a night of music that i will never forget. i can only imagine there were spirits rejoicing that night. it has followed me until today. night of hunters is brilliant and tori is my spiritual mother. my heart is so full from the gifts of music bestowed upon me last night.

Attended. Shattering Sea showcased the strings and her voice was excellent – crisp and soft. After Spring Haze to Fearlessness was a low of the evening. If you were not a big Tori fan you would probably fall alseep during this time. Cruel brought the room back to high energy. Mulitude of Shades was string solo. She was very restricted with certain songs like Precious Things. She could not belt out the gurrrrrllllllllllll. I can tell she was reading lyrics on certain songs – althgouh who can blame her with such a huge catalogue. You get your $$ worth. The t shirts were a bit boring, not like BFP DVD. Her hair was excellent and she appeared in a great mood. She does not talk to the audience except once, to thank the strings. It had a Xmas feel. I miss the band.

The goal of any performance, as they say in hockey, is to “leave it all out there on the ice.” Well, on this night, Tori & the Apollon Musagete certainly left it all on the ice. 2.5 hours of performance (or so), with the maximum amount of emotion packed in. Tori knows how to go out with a bang!
Highlights for me, personally, were a riveting performance of “Curtain Call”, the fantastic arrangement of “Hey Jupiter” (it’s really becoming her anthem – and it works!), and the instrumental passage of “Star Whisperer”.
I’m not really sure I would say she played “Tubular Bells” – it was only about eight measures leading into the “God/Running Up That Hill” mix. Also note that “Father Lucifer” actually came after “Your Ghost”…it may have even been after “Edge Of The Moon.”
Overall, a wonderfully unique tour about which not enough good things can be said! Thank you as always, Tori…and Apollon Musagete!
Ryan says:
I’ve seen Tori perform live several times, including a really nice Good Morning America taping at Bethesda Fountain in Central Park. However, this show was by far the most surreal and extraordinary. The culmination of Christmas-proximity, touring with Quartet, and End-of-tour context all culminated into a tangible mood that affected everyone on stage and in the audience. The set lest was great and extensive; I think she played for over 2.5 hours. The songs were incredible in their new interpetations. God/Running Up that Hill, Holly Ivy & Rose, Hey Jupiter, and Suede really stand out as personal highllights. Tori’s red glittering Christmas outfit, the mesmerizing lighting, and the hypnotic chandelier all punctuated the intimate warmth and electric vibe that permeated every aspect of the show.

Wow. This show is one of my favorites of all times. The setlist was very well chosen and the end of the concert was a great turn to finish the tour.
My favorite was Parasol. Gosh, I cried during the entire song and I still can’t believe I got to listen to it live!!!
Other highlights for me: Spring haze (beautiful), Father Lucifer (of course! with the finger and all that!!!), Curtain call (Wow. This one was solo and I think there’s no better version of it), Holy, Ivy and Rose (never expected to listen to this one either and a very nice surprise for the encore!) and Carry (perfect end to everything).
The quartet were excellent. I really hope Tori will do another tour in the future of this kind. The combination with the classical music was so powerful and a perfect match.
