    Tour Status

    Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.

    Tori turns 43 today! We hope that she (and you) are doing something delicious to celebrate.

    For instance, if you happen to be in the Nashville area, we recommend your delicious activity be attending the Nashville RAINN Benefit concert at 3rd and Lindsley on Thursday, August 24th. The evening will feature performances by The Gabe Dixon Band, Garrison Starr, Rachael Sage, Sandra McCracken and Tyler James and promises to be a fun way to help raise some money and awareness for RAINN!

    ToriAmos.com sent out their latest e-mail newsletter yesterday evening. It focused primarily on A Piano: The Collection, but there was also a healthy dose of RAINN news included as well. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any new news in the newsletter, but it’s good to see some stirrings of activity from the Tori Camp.

    Nashville RAINN Benefit Concert

    On August 24th, the Nashville RAINN Benefit Concert will be held at 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville, TN. Performers include The Gabe Dixon Band, Garrison Starr, Rachael Sage, Sandra McCracken and Tyler James. The show starts at 7:00pm and admission is a $10 minimum donation at the door, all proceeds of which go directly to RAINN’s National Sexual Assault Online Hotline.     Sounds like an excellent night of music, so if you are in the area, head on down and help support a great cause!

    2007 Tori Amos RAINN Benefit Calendar

    The 2007 Tori Amos RAINN Benefit Calendar is now available for purchase from the RAINN store. The limited-edition calendar features original artwork by artists Rick Berry, Michelle Chang, Echo Chernik, Dave Dorman, Michael Dringenberg, Matt Hughes, Petar Meseldzija, Ken Meyer, Jr., Christopher Moeller, C.F. Payne, Joe Jusko, Herb Leonhard, David Mack, and Mark Summers and a special, full-size centerfold tour poster by Bob Masse. All artists have donated their work to this project to ensure that all of the calendar’s proceeds directly benefit RAINN.

    Tori To Judge RAINN Poetry & Art Contest

    RAINN has announced that it will hold its first ever Art & Poetry Contest in celebration of its 12th anniversary and Tori will be its judge. Tori will select the two winners of the contest, one for art and one for poetry. The winners will be featured on a special-edition t-shirt that will be available in the Fall. Entrants must submit a completed entry form with their art or poetry and a $50 entry fee by August 22nd. The guidelines for the contest are at the link above as well as included with the entry form available from RAINN as a PDF.

    Upcoming National Sexual Assault Online Hotline

    RAINN will be launching the National Sexual Assault Online Hotline in the 3rd quarter of 2006. This hotline will provide live, anonymous, secure crisis support 24 hours a day to victims of sexual assault and their families and friends.
