News: Tori On The Tonight Show (October 1, 2007)

Posted by woj on Wednesday, October 03, 2007 | TV/Radio/Web,Video

Tori performed “Bouncing Off Clouds” on The Tonight Show on Monday, October 1st. If, like me, you slept through it by accident (damn you comfy couch!), YouTube is your friend!

Thanks to robbit, Tony, and Saar for the link!

Update: Lisa071573 attended the taping. Here’s what she had to say about it:

Just wanted to send a report in about the Leno show (you’ve probably got one by now, but just in case…) Tori sang Bouncing Off Clouds and had the band there (Matt, Jon, and I assume Dan Phelps – looked like there was a guitarist and it wasn’t Mark :P I couldn’t see well from my angle though so if it was just Jon and Matt, don’t hurt me.) Anyway, Tori had on the Tori-wig, a very skimpy, strapless black mini-dress with some red heels, and looked way too thin! but seemed to be in good spirits, perhaps a little nervous at first. She didn’t get couch time (as usual) and as Jay was running late, I doubt the final version will even show her greeting him. Later, a small group – possibly 12 or so of us – waited outside for Tori on her way out, but it seemed she was on her way somewhere, as she only got out of the SUV for a quick minute, said hi and apologized for having to run off. She did make a point of telling us (and said to tell everyone) that there will be meet and greets for the US shows. I met this sweet girl named Misty who I think was probably the only one of the 12 of us who had not previously met Tori, and she asked how to get in to the meet and greets and Tori pointed at the rest of us and said, “they know, they’ll tell you.” It was cute :) I unfortunately did not get any pictures because I didn’t realize my camera was accidentally on the video setting :P I got about a 3-second video (which was an accident since I know we’re not supposed to video the meet and greets!) – but it’s only 3 seconds because I was hitting the button trying to figure out why they camera was not behaving and not taking pictures, so here it is :P
