News: Gramophone Features and Interviews Tori

Posted by woj on Tuesday, September 06, 2011 | TV/Radio/Web

Classical music magazine Gramophone reported on Night of Hunters today and is offering a sneak peak at the album via a streaming conversation between Tori and the magazine’s deputy editor Sarah Kirkup.

To listen to the interview, you’ll have to register for their website (it’s free and only requires an e-mail address, no other personal information) and then hit up their Gramophone Player, where the interview is currently top-billed.

The article also indicates that Tori contributes to the “My Music” feature of the current issue (October 2011). A quick glance through the Gramophone archives shows that this feature is a short essay by the person in question about, you guessed it, music — either what they are listening to, what inspires them, how they compose it or so on. If you want to track that down, check your local newsstand if you’re in the UK or check out Gramophone’s digital subscription service which gives you immediate electronic access to the current edition.

Thanks to mario for the tip!
