During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori will be touring in 2014 to support the release of Unrepentant Geraldines. The European legs runs from May through June and the North American legs spans July and August. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Tonight saw Tori’s brief but sweet tour of South Africa come to a close in Cape Town. Performing at GrandWest’s Grand Arena, she again treated the audience to a revue of her back catalog, highlighting songs such as “Icicle,” “Mother,” “Dragon,” “Concertina” and “Me And A Gun,” but she also included one song from Night of Hunters, concluding the main set with “Carry.” The show also featured a cover of Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus” to open the encore.
Thanks to the admirable efforts of @ChantelErfort and @ffreakazzoid, the concert unfolded on Twitter as it happened and the full setlist has been posted in the Tour section. A couple reviews were already sent in; if anyone else who had the pleasure of seeing the show would like to add their thoughts and opinions, please do using the comment form there!
So, a teary farewell to South Africa after an amazing swing through that country! The excitement and enthusiasm of the fans for these shows there has been really incredible to watch and infectious for those of us Tori will be visiting next when the Night of Hunters tour picks up again at the end of November in Atlanta. The Apollon Musagète Quartett will be rejoining her and the North American leg will continue through to just before Christmas.
