Tour Status

At this time, Tori is not on tour. The most recent tour was 2009's Sinful Attraction tour that swung through North America in the Summer, Europe in the Fall and concluded in Australia in November. It was followed by a spate of promotional appearances for Midwinter Graces in London and New York City in December.

News: Liz Smith Dishes About The Posse

Posted by woj on Saturday, March 10, 2007 | Articles

The edition of Liz Smith’s column published in the, as I understand it, March 9th edition of the Star-Ledger included this little blurb:

Fans of singer Tori Amos—emotionally intense cult star deluxe—can expect a new album coming in April, titled “American Doll Posse.” And Tori has a real doll posse working with her on this disc—four well-known female musicians. One is brunette, two are blonde and there’s a redhead too. Amos won’t give out the names, but insists they are “trailblazers, representing the many facets of a woman.”

The erroneous release date for the album aside, this is quite intriguing and the first we’ve heard about potential collaboration on this record. Are these fellow songwriters? Or just session musicians? Or perhaps just personas Tori is assuming for some of the songs?

I have not been able to find an on-line copy of the article, despite the fact that Smith’s column is syndicated by many newspapers, but bonnie77 has provided a scan:

Thanks also to Fabz for mentioning this to us.
