News: The Daily Mail's ADP Review (April 27, 2007)

Posted by woj on Monday, April 30, 2007 | Reviews

Completing the triple play of mini-reviews, here’s The Daily Mail’s take on American Doll Posse. This one does not yet appear to be on the web so hanks to Melissae and Lucy for sending it in!

TORI AMOS: American Doll Posse (Epic) 4/5 stars
by Tully Potter

Amos has come up with five female characters. Isabel, Clyde, Pip, Santa and Tori are pictured looking like a scary Girls Aloud. This concept album swrals across 23 tracks and 80 minutes. Lyrically impenetrable, it is more accessible musically. Big Wheel and Teenage Hustling are trad-rock, but Amos is at her best on piano ballads.
