Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
ToriAmos.com (and all the usual official channels) has announced another date on the Australian leg of the tour: Canberra on Sunday, November 15th at the Canberra Theatre. Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 25th at 9:00 AM local time through Canberra Ticketing.
Thanks to Anna for catching this!
Lucie S spotted this review of last Saturday’s performance at the Hammersmith in The Independent. It’s hard to suss out how, exactly, Simon Price felt about the show though with his back and forth comments. Nevertheless, it seems to come out slightly ahead in the positive column — even though this male concert-goer never felt the need for ovaries to fully understand Ms. Amos.
Appearing in the September 10th edition of The Scotman, David Pollack’s review of the Glasgow concert critiqued the lack of variety in the performance but recognized Tori’s achievement and talent.
Thanks to Mr. Anonymous for sending in the link!
Tony Collins reviewed last week’s Birmingham concert for the Birmingham Post, giving the performance three out of five stars and calling the concert “absorbing.”
Thanks to Rob for catching this article!
Ben Hurst reviewed last week’s show at the Birmingham Symphony Hall for the Birmingham Mail. Although short on words, the article is not short on praise, calling the performance “truly supersonic.”
Thanks to Bob for catching this one!
We have setlists up for the last few shows along with some reviews. It’s been a real challenge covering these shows live (few or no people tweeting), so we’ve had to piece the setlists together during and after as best we can. (If anyone wants to tweet sets to us on Twitter during the shows, by all means, please do! Just @ or DM us on the day of the show and tell us to follow your stream.)
Big surprises were “Mr. Zebra” and “Not The Red Baron” during the second London show, “Girl” in Basel, and “Heart Of Gold” in Munich.
If you were at any of these shows and want to write a review or send pics & video, pop over to the Tour section, click the flashback page for the show(s) you attended, and scroll to the bottom to submit.
The Sinful Attraction Tour’s Scottish excursion at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall is in the books and while Tori didn’t break out a kilt, she did perform “Etienne” during the Lizard Lounge — though the bagpipes were left as a mental exercise for the audience. Other songs featured during the set included “Taxi Ride” (the other solo song during the Lounge), “Horses,” “Hotel,” “Pretty Good Year” and “Caught A Lite Sneeze.”
The complete setlist is in the Tour section — many thanks to @joeyjoe77uk and @material_elle for posting the setlist on Twitter! If you were there and would like to share your thoughts, videos or photos on the concert, we’d love to hear from you!
Just got word there will be no meet & greet in Glasgow today.
Barring any further emergencies on the home front, I should be able to cover the Glasgow setlist live on Twitter. If anyone is planning to tweet, drop me an @ or DM before the show.
We’ve gotten confirmation from Tori’s management that there will be no meet and greet for the first show in London, on Thursday, September 10th. The one on Friday, September 11th is still a go though.
Thanks to Jason and Bob for linking us to Helen Tither’s review of the Manchester concert for the Manchester Evening News’s Citylife entertainment website. Despite one use of the k-word (albeit in the past tense), you can’t go wrong when someone calls you a “high fashion space dominatrix!”
