Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Due to extreme heat, there will be no meet and greet in Adelaide today. Apparently there is no shade near the venue, and Tori doesn’t want people standing out under the hot sun.
Well, we we didn’t get a recap posted for the second Sydney show until now but the complete setlist, thanks again to @sarakthx — who somehow managed to crack the Opera House’s cell phone reception code — was updated live and a few reviews have been submitted as well.
Tonight’s show featured several rarities and uncommon songs including “Butterfly,” “Girl,” “Honey,” “Etienne,” “Take Me With You” and a cover of Carly Simon’s “That’s The Way I’ve Always Heard It Should Be.” (if you don’t recognize the song, stream this sample on iLike and it should come to mind). For the full setlist, check out the second Sydney show page in the Tour section and, if you were there and are so inclined, add your review to the others.
Due to the limited cell phone reception, we didn’t expect to be able to get the setlist for today’s or tomorrow’s shows at the Sydney Opera House live as it happened. However, we did expect to get the set posted once it came in but nefarious things precluded us from doing so as quickly as the intrepid @sarahkthx sent it in just after the show ended. Nevertheless, it is there now — go forth and feast your eyes upon its glory!
In addition to the new staples (“Lady in Blue,” “Blood Roses,” “I Can’t See New York” and “Barons of Suburbia”), the set was sprinkled with several other favorites including “Here. In My Head,” “Pandora’s Aquarium,” “Take to the Sky,” “Merman” and “Putting the Damage On.”
We’re sure everyone knows the routine by now but just in case not: we’d love to host your reviews, photographs and videos on the site. If you’d like to share, please use the comment form at the bottom of the Sydney page to let us know. There are instructions for e-mail photographs as well.
Hopefully we’ll be able to get the second Sydney’s setlist posted sooner than today’s. Wish us luck! (But if we don’t, y’all can start posting reviews for that show in the Tour section soon as the show is over.)
The Australian Sinful Attraction tour stopped in Canberra today and, thanks to @Almond87 on Twitter, the setlist is up! The concert featured “Bouncing off Clouds,” “Toast,” “Father Lucifer,” “Upside Down,” and covers of “Boys in the Trees” and “I’m On Fire.” Check out the rest of the set in the Tour section.
If you were there and care to share your thoughts on the performance, pleasse do so using the comment form at the bottom of the Canberra page.
The second night at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre is in the books. Tonight’s performance included “Famous Blue Raincoat,” “That Guy,” Flying Dutchman,” “Cooling,” “Mr. Zebra,” “Taxi Ride” and, during the encore, “Never Seen Blue.” The full setlist has been posted in the Tour section. Thanks again to @onscarletswalk for posting the songs played on Twitter as it happened.
As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts and reviews on the performance. So if you are inclined to share, please use the comment form at the bottom of the page for the second Melbourne show.
The first show of the Australian leg of the Sinful Attraction Tour was today in Melbourne at the Regent Theatre. Thanks to @onscarletswalk who was posting the setlist on Twitter as it happened, we’ve got the full set up in the Tour section already.
As with the previous concerts on the tour, there is still a Lizard Lounge portion of the evening and while it would have been amusing if she had a band come on for just those songs, that was not the case.
Interesting songs from the set included “Blood Roses,” “I Can’t See New York,” “Scarlet’s Walk,” “Barons of Suburbia,” “Sister Janet” and a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Suzanne.” The Lizard Lounge included “A Silent Night With You” and “Purple People.”
For the full setlist and, if you were there, to post a review of the show, head on over to the Tour section of the site!
According to Gigwise (via WENN.com), Tori will be playing a special one-off show at The Jazz Cafe in Camden on December 2nd. Entry to the concert will require a wristband that will be handed out at HMV at 150 Oxford Street starting at 8:00 AM on the day of the performance that reportedly will showcase songs from Midwinter Graces as well as some older songs.
One assume this is the special announcement we were to be expecting from HMV. No details on their site yet but now that the beans have been spilled, one suspects it won’t be long…
Update: As expected. HMV has added the details about the Jazz Cafe show to their events page:
Tori Amos will be supporting the release of her brand new album ‘Midwinter Graces’ by playing an intimate free show at The Jazz Cafe in London on Wednesday 2 December.
Fans can pick up free wristbands which allow them access to the event. Wristbands will be available only from hmv, 150 Oxford Street, London, W1D 1DJ from 8.00am on Wednesday 2 December onwards. One wristband per customer maximum, in person only, while stocks last, subject to availability, at participating store only.
Visa Entertainment is now offering a 2-for-1 ticket deal to Visa cardholders for the November 12th show Melbourne and the November 21st show in Perth. To take advantage of this offer, you’ll have to buy your tickets through Ticketek.com.
In addition, all Visa card purchasers will be entered into a drawing to win entry to a meet and greet with Tori. Full contest details have been posted at Visa Entertainment — just in case you’re interested in a little dry reading.
Thanks again to onscarletswalk for the tour tip!
Update: I guess I should have read the “dry reading” as tickets have to be purchased by Monday, November 9th at 11:59 PM Sydney time — about 10 minutes ago as of this update. Oops…such is the perils of being out of town for the weekend and reporting on news in a sleepy stupor before heading to work. Looks like the 2-for-1 ticket offer is still in effect though…
The latest newsletter from the Canberra Theatre announced that all remaining tickets for Tori’s November 15th concert there have been reduced in price. A Reserve tickets have been knocked down to AUS$64.50 and the B Reserve tickets are now on sale at AUS$59.50. Additionally, ever ticket purchased will put you into a drawing to get an opportunity to attend a meet’n‘greet with Tori prior to the performance.
Thanks to onscarletswalk for letting us know about these changes (which, alas, are not exactly advertised on the Theatre’s website).
According to his website and Myspace, Ray Mann of The Ray Mann Three will be the opening act for the Australian leg of the Sinful Attraction Tour. We hear he’s decent so check him out now — rather than as you’re taking your seat and tripping over the legs of fellow concert-goers in the dark in November!
