Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Tori’s set at Bonnaroo is, as they say, in the bag and, with thanks to the kindly @KaranRulec and the festival’s webcast via YouTube, we’ve got the set for the full show posted in Tour.
The performance featured “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Secret Spell” (leavened with lyrics from “Turn! Turn! Turn!”, a collaboration between Pete Seeger and the Book of Ecclesiastes made famous by The Byrds), “Upside Down” (dedicated to Mother Earth in response to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico), “Space Dog” (which included an off-the-cuff explanation for Neil’s absence) and “Love Song.”
As always, we’d love to hear what people in attendance thought of the show. If you were there, please feel free to post a review of the performance using the comment form on the Bonnaroo concert page.
Tickets for the Paris concert went on sale this morning through avosbillets.com which, as it turned out, redirected to the venue’s official ticketing service hosted on rodrigue.fr.
Strangely, the show is still not listed on L’Olympia’s calendar. However, a call to the box office confirmed that that tickets will also be available through the venue starting on June 1st. So another block of tickets will probably go on sale then, in case anyone was unsatisfied with the seat options offered through avsobillets.com.
In other tour news, Livenation.co.uk’s listing for the London concert at the Apollo Victoria indicates that the opening act will be Harper Simon. Additionally, Emilie Simon has been replaced by Steve Mason as the opening act for the concert at Miles Davis Hall during the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Thanks to Rachel, Noémie and Nawal for helping out with the above info!
Bonnaroo has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2010 festival. Tori will be at This Tent from 6:45 to 8:15 PM on the previously advertised date of Friday, June 11th — a good hour-and-a-half set that will close out the afternoon/early evening session at that stage. The Gossip and She & Him will be preceding Ms. Amos so that stage is shaping up to be a good afternoon of music if you elect to head over early.
Thanks Jeff P. for letting us know.
Just when we thought this summer’s European tour might have been complete, ToriAmos.com has announced yet another performance! This time, it’s in Paris at L’Olympia on Monday, July 19th.
Per ToriAmos.com, tickets are slated to go on sale on Thursday, May 27th via avosbillets.com and, sure enough, there is a listing for the show with an on-sale time of 10:00 AM local time (CEST) that day.
Tickets for many shows at this venue are also sold through the venue’s website, so that would be a good place, along with Fnac Spectacles, to keep an eye on come Thursday morning as well.
Thanks to Jan and Noah for catching this after I dozed off last night…
Just a quick reminder that tickets for the London and Bloemendaal shows go on sale on Saturday, May 15th. For London, there is a pre-sale via Ticketmaster that starts at 9:00 AM BST while the general sale for Bloemendaal starts at 10:00 AM CEST via Ticketmaster and Paylogic — and it looks like the Paylogic sale has already started! Bloemendaal tickets will also be sold through Primera stores throughout The Netherlands (though we don’t know if they have a separate allotment from the online vendors).
It doesn’t appear that there are any special requirements for the London pre-sale. Seems that the only “fan club” elements to it are that the purchase page does not come up in a search on Ticketmaster and is only linked to from ToriAmos.com and, of course, all the Tori Amos fan sites across the web!
Good luck to all!
Update: ToriAmos.com has confirmed that this show is taking place. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster with a pre-sale via Ticketmaster on Saturday, May 15th at 9:00 AM BST and the general sale starting on Tuesday, May 18th at 9:00 AM BST. And, as you can see from the image on the Ticketmaster page, this show — and presumably the others in Europe — will be solo performances.
Update: And the listing has been removed…it was there though! A few folks contacted the Apollo Victoria and were told that the show is expected to be confirmed next week, though @NicotineLove was told that tickets could go on sale tomorrow. Given the conflicting information, we’re just going to sit tight and keep our eyes on Ticketmaster…
Ticketmaster has added a listing for a show at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, snugly scheduled between the Dublin and Dutch shows on Sunday, July 18th at 7:30 PM.
Tickets are slated to go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, May 18th at 9:00 AM, with a “fan club” presale starting on Saturday, May 15th at 9:00 AM. No, we’re not sure what that means either as there is no fan club…but one assumes that details will be forthcoming shortly.
Thanks to @NicotineLove for the eagle eyes!
ToriAmos.com has confirmed the July 21st performance at at Caprera in Bloemendaal, Holland adding that ticket presales are slated to start on Thursday, May 13th with the general sale on Saturday, May 15th though Ticketmaster. However, the Presale listing, selling tickets via Paylogic, appears to be active again, so you may be able to get tickets via that route early. The Paylogic link is also active via Patronaat.
Additionally, ToriAmos.com has announced that Tori will be performing at Villa Arconati in Milan, Italy on July 13th. Tickets for that concert are already on sale through Viva Ticket.
Update: Patronaat has announced this show so it looks like it has been confirmed. Tickets are slated to go on-sale May 15th.
Update: Presale has deactivated the ticket purchasing link as the listing was added prematurely. If the show is confirmed, Presale has indicated to those who did buy tickets that their purchase will still be valid. However, if the show ends up falling through, refunds will be provided. Thanks again to Shireen and also to Jenn.
In the latest episode of Tori Amos concert whack-a-mole, the Dutch ticket seller Presale has added a listing for a concert on Wednesday, July 21st at Caprera, an outdoor theatre in Bloemendaal in the Netherlands. Tom McRae, who opened for Tori during 2005’s Original Sinsuality Tour, is listed as the support act.
While Presale is selling tickets now for a reasonable-looking €40, we do hasten to point out that this show has not been confirmed by either Tori’s official news channels or the venue website so one may wish to sit tight on purchasing tickets until we know for sure that the show is happening…though, of course, the show would fit nicely between the confirmed Dublin and Pori concerts, so it certainly seems possible.
Thanks to Heather, Rachel and Shireen for the tip!
According to the festival program, Tori will be returning to the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, performing at Miles Davis Hall on Friday, July 9th along with Emilie Simon.
Tickets to Festival events are on-sale now. Tickets for this specific show are available through Ticketcorner.
Thanks to Ennio, Rachael and the others who let us know and no thanks to the wall of tiredness that I slammed into last night, else I would have had this news up earlier!
Just a quick reminder that tickets for the Cactusfestival in Brugge, Belgium where — at least according to the festival website — Tori is playing on Sunday, July 11th, are on sale as of today (and, seemingly, were available a wee bit early as people were able to purchase them Sunday evening). Prices start at €36.00 for single-day admission and go up to €85.00 for the full weekend. Tickets are being sold through Ticketmatic.
