Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
The Tori Store has added t-shirt designs from the North American leg of the tour to their catalog. In addition to the ADP logo short showing the North American tour dates, there are several new designs as well. Check them out in the American Doll Posse product gallery. A tip of the hat to Stephen for noticing the addition.
Matt Ashare’s review of the second show at the Orpheum in Boston was posted on The Phoenix’s website on October 23rd where you can also find a nifty little slideshow of photographs from the concert.
Jeff Miers previewed the upcoming show at the Shea Performing Arts Center in Buffalo for the Buffalo News. Although he seems to imply that Tori will perform as all five members of the Doll Posse and mistakenly says there will be no opener (Yoav might take exception to that!), it will hopefully bring in some curious souls to the show tonight.
Thanks to Mike Fisher for pointing this out!
Jason MacNeil reviewed the October 23rd show at the Sony Centre for the Toronto Sun. You can read his review (which sounds eerily like the ones posted sent into us by fans) on their website or below.
Pip opened tonight’s show at the Sony Centre in Toronto, ripping through her set of songs, including “Cruel”, “Fat Slut”, “Teenage Hustling” and “The Waitress”. The balance of the evening featured the second ever performance of “Take Me With You”, the tour debut of “Horses”, and the return of “Glory Of The 80s” to Tori’s repertoire. Thanks to iciclespark for sending in the setlist which has been added to the Toronto page in the tour section.
If you were at the show, please let us know what you thought of the performance using the comment form at the bottom of that page.
The Toronto show is available for pre-order from Legs & Boots now and should be ready for download within a few hours.
Update: The recording has been posted and is ready for download!
The following review of the October 21st concert in Montreal appeared in the October 22nd edition of the Montreal Gazette. Read it on their website or below.
The concert tonight in Montreal is in the bag. Isabel was the opening doll who played “In The Springtime Of His Voodoo”, “Tombigbee” and “Scarlet’s Walk” during her portion of the concert. Highlights of the rest of the evening included “Sugar”, “Playboy Mommy”, “Baker Baker” and “Garlands” — the last two performed solo during T & Bö. The full setlist has been posted in the tour section — thanks to Deb for texting in reports as it happened to atforumz.
If you were there, we’d like to hear what you thought of the show! If you want to share, just use the comment form on the Montreal concert page.
This concert is available for pre-order from Legs & Boots and, if the past few shows are any indication, should be ready for download within a few hours.
Update: the Montreal official bootleg is ready for download!
Christopher John Treacy, who you may remember previewed the two Orpheum shows for The Boston Herald, also reviewed the first of those shows for the Herald as well. The published version of his review is on The Herald’s website. However, Christopher was nice enough to send us the full review which is included below the cut. Thanks to Michelle for spotting the Herald piece and to Christopher for sending us the full text!
Joan Anderman attended the October 18th show at the Orpheum Theatre and her review for the Boston Globe indicates she left a little less than impressed. One suspects Pip doesn’t give a flip…
Clyde started the second show at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston. Her set included the tour debut of “Girl Disappearing” and the rarely played — on this tour — “Little Amsterdam”. After the interlude, Tori came back out and banged through a raucous set which featured “Space Dog”, “Sugar”, “Bells For Her” (with an lengthy introduction due to technical problems she was having with her in-ear monitors), “Spring Haze” (preceded by a dark improv about new beginnings), “Northern Lad” and “Parasol”. The full setlist has (finally!) been posted in the tour section.
If you were there, please let everyone know what you thought of the show by posting a review using the comment form on that page!
This show is already available for download from Legs & Boots! I guess the bootleg gnomes don’t sleep….
