Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
As many predicted, Santa opened the second New York show at the WaMu earlier this evening, including “Sugar” amongst her usual offerings. Tori’s parents were in attendance at this show, so it’s no surprise that “Winter” lead off T & Bö; it was rounded out by “Carbon” and “Baker Baker”. There were two improvs: an intense one preceding “Spring Haze” which dealt with Christianity and politics while the other more whimsically addressed the cute boys of New York.
The full setlist, pieced together from reports posted on the various forums, has been added to the Tour section. I believe it is correct. If you were there and want to let everyone know what you thought, please post a review using the comment form there!
There are two simultaneous pre-sales for the second Chicago show happening right now. One is being run by Jam Productions and the other by WXRT. The password for the former is DOLL and the password for the second is POSSE. Both presales are happening at Ticketmaster.
Good luck!
Pip opened the first of Tori’s two-night stand at New York’s WaMu Theatre at Madison Square Garden this evening. Tori’s set included “Cool On Your Island”, “Cooling” (both during T & Bö, the latter with the Brambles bridge) , “Digital Ghost” and “Hotel”. The full setlist came to us via various folks — thanks to Moonlitwindow, Frank A, and Angell’s buddy with the video texts — and can be found in the Tour section.
If you were there, let us know what you thought of the show with the comment form at the bottom of that page!
Don’t forget: Today’s Tori happenings are not done yet! She’s Craig Ferguson’s musical guest on The Late Late Show tonight on CBS!
The passwords for today’s Chicago and Oakland presales is “doll.” [Oopsie, Chicago is tomorrow.]
VIP tickets for Oakland go on sale tomorrow morning (October 12) at 10am. Ditto Chicago presale tix.
David Malachowski reviewed last night’s show at The Palace Theatre for the Albany Times Union. Thanks to China2Ny for finding the link before we did!
The American Doll Posse tour resumed last night in Albany, New York. Isabel opened the first night of the North American leg (she also closed the Australian leg), playing most of her usual songs as well as “In The Springtime Of His Voodoo”. Tori’s set included “Mother Revolution”, “Virginia” and, during the solo section, “Marianne”, “Etienne” and the Leonard Cohen cover “Famous Blue Raincoat”. The entire setlist, thanks to Megan, has been posted on in the Tour section where you can also find some early reactions to the show and video from Robert Schrader.
If you were at the show and want to let everyone know what you thought, please use the comment form on the concert page.
(Forgive me for not getting this article posted until this morning — my car was impounded last night. Woo hoo!!!)
It’s really gonna happen… The latest issue of the Toriamos.com newsletter confirms that many of the shows on the upcoming stretch of the American Doll Posse tour will be available online as digital downloads within hours of each show’s completion. Keep an eye on Toriamos.com for more info.
On the eve of the North American tour, Meet and Greets are a common subject in the comments and questions we’ve received lately, so we put together this post which, we hope, will address the questions we’ve gotten — as well as those we haven’t!
Much of the below is cribbed from MikeWhy’s Meet and Greet FAQ, which is an excellent reference as much of what Mike wrote is very much still applicable.
As the tour goes on, we’ll post any news or information we hear about what’s going on on the M&G front to try and keep folks up to speed.
Ashley points out that a listing at Ticketmaster has been added for a second Chicago show on November 6, 2007 at The Vic Theatre.
This seems a little strange since the other Chicago stop on the tour is at The Auditorium Theatre, where there is nothing scheduled for the 6th, and The Vic is a smaller, general admission venue. At this time, this show has not been confirmed by either ToriAmos.com, Everything Tori or Jam Productions, which Ticketmaster lists as the promoter.
Update: Missy kindly called The Vic and confirmed that this show is, in fact, happening.
Update: Everything Tori has confirmed this show as well and indicates that there will NOT be VIP packages available for this concert.
According to Ticketmaster, there will be a JAM MAIL pre-sale on Friday, October 12th at 10:00 AM CDT (presumably for subscribers to Jam’s newsletter), followed by a general sale on Saturday the 13th, also at 10:00 AM CDT.
Several Toriphiles in the New York area have recently been targeted by a scam artist selling tickets for Tori’s Madison Square Garden shows on Craigslist.
