Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Sally Browne’s review of the Brisbane concert appeared in Sunday’s Courier Mail. along with this amusing little photograph of the opening doll, Santa.
Santa opened up the concert in Brisbane tonight, including “Sugar” among her usual set of songs. Other highlights from the setlist, which was posted on @forums by twice as hard, include “Honey”, “General Joy”, “Cooling” (with, for the first time ever (whoops!) since the 1998 club show in Toronto, the brambles bridge included!), “Digital Ghost” and “Hotel”. Check out the full setlist on the Brisbane page and, if you were there, please let us know what you thought of the show!
Just a reminder that tickets for Salt Lake City and Phoenix go on general sale at 10am today, Saturday, September 22nd.
While both cities are technically in the Mountain time zone, Phoenix doesn’t change time zones for the summer months, so it’s currently in the same time zone as the west coast states. Yeah, we know, it’s a bit confusing, so if you’re purchasing from elsewhere:
Visit the Tour section for ticket links and suchlike.
The Tori Store has added t-shirts from the European leg of the American Doll Posse tour to their website.
Quantities are limited, so race over to get yours now! No, seriously … NOW!
Danielle O’Donoghue’s review of the Adelaide show for the The Advertiser was posted on AdelaideNow, along with this picture of Pip. Read on to find out what she thought….
Pip opened the show the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide tonight. The setlist comes to us from winterspark at the FeelTheWord forum and Leelo who sent it to us as well. Tori brought out “Me And A Gun” for the second time in three shows during the solo T & Bö section of the evening, during which she also played “Leather” and “Cooling”. Other highlights included “In The Springtime Of His Voodoo”, “Siren” and “Spark”. Check out the full setlist on the Adelaide page, where you can also post a review if you attended. Photos, audio and video are always welcome too!
Santa opened tonight’s concert at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle. Tracey texted the setlist to the fine folks at the FeelTheWord forum and, about the same time, Trent e-mailed it to us. It’s been added to the Tour section. Highlights included “Honey”, “Northern Lad”, and the tour debut of “Hotel” to close out the second encore. During T & Bö, she played “Yes, Anastasia” and “Winter”. Reportedly, tori was very subduded this evening. If you were there, please let us know what you thought using the comment form at the bottom of the Newcastle page.
SmithsTix, the ticket vendor The E Center in Salt Lake City, has added a listing for the November 29th show at Salt Lake City, Utah. Tickets go on-sale on Saturday, September 22nd at 10:00 AM MDT. Prices are not yet listed either at SmithTix or The E Center’s website — which still does not even have the show on their event calendar, though given the listing on ToriAmos.com and EverythingTori, it’s safe to assume that is an oversight by The E Center.
Thanks to Kevin Lindstrom for the tip!
Rejoice, denizens of the Valley of the Sun! (Ra! Ra! Ra!) The Phoenix concert has been added to Ticketmaster!
As previously reported, the show goes on-sale to the general public on Saturday, September 22nd at 10:00 MST. Ticketmaster also lists an iTunes presale on Wednesday, September 19th, starting at 10:00 AM MST. And while it is not yet listed on Ticketmaster, The Tori Store confirmed that VIP tickets will be available for the Phoenix concert, also going on-sale on Wednesday at 10:00 AM MST at Ticketmaster.
Non-Arizonans, don’t forget that Arizona does not practice Daylight Savings Time! Fortunately, The Fixed Time World Clock can sort out what time 10:00 AM in Phoenix is where ever you happen to be in the world.
Since it’s been a while since the intial flurry of ticket sales for the North American tour, a quick reminder: the iTunes pre-sale requires a personalized password that was sent to people who pre-ordered American Doll Posse from iTunes. In contrast, VIP tickets DO NOT require a password and can be purchased by anyone. However, the number of VIP packages is very limited and they will sell out quickly.
Saar spotted a new U.S. tour date on Everything Tori: Boise, Idaho! (No! You da ho!)
The show will be on November 30, 2007 at the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets go on sale September 28th through IdahoTickets.com. As such, one would guess that there will not be an iTunes pre-sale for this show. However, that certainly would not rule out the possibility of a pre-sale of some sort or another, as has happened at other non-Ticketmaster venues on the tour.
VIP packages will NOT be available for this concert.
Update: The Idaho Statesman reported on the show in their September 21st edition. They didn’t really mention anything new, but completely forgot about the 2002-3 tour with the band when saying that Tori hasn’t toured with a band since 1999.
Tori Amos to play Morrison Center
Statesman staff – Idaho Statesman
Edition Date: 09/21/07
Tori Amos, the pianist and singer-songwriter who developed a huge cult following in the 1990s, will come to the Morrison Center in Boise on her American Doll Posse Tour Nov. 30.
The American Doll concept features Amos portraying five distinct characters. Each night of her tour, one of the “characters” will perform a set before Amos comes on stage as herself.
Each of these characters has her own blog through Amos’ Website.
In addition to her split personalities, Amos will have a full band with her on tour for the first time since 1999’s Five and a Half Weeks Tour.
Tickets for the show cost $39.50 and go on sale Friday, Sept. 28 through Select-a-Seat.
