Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
A handful of folks wrote in today to ask about Tori’s date at San Diego’s Copley Symphony Hall, because Ticketmaster’s Web site briefly gave the show date as sometime in February of 2008. After that, the show’s listing disappeared entirely, then reappeared with the December 12, 2007, date. This is one of those times we’re just going to have to shrug and say, “We don’t know, but if that date changes, we’ll let you know.” Thanks to Robert Schrader and a couple of anonymous tipsters for sending word.
Minneapolis radio station The Current is also sponsoring a presale for the Minneapolis show today! The presale is already under-way and the password is CURRENT. Buy tickets here.
Thanks Amanda!
The University of Minnesota has posted a few details about ticket prices and on-sale dates for the November 7th Minneapolis show on the Northrup Auditorium’s website.
Most importantly, there will be an on-line presale on Friday, August 31st at 10:00 AM Central. The presale is for the Cities 97 Frequent Listeners Club. Password information was sent out to Club members earlier today. [Update: The password is Piano.]
Tickets will be sold through the Northrup Ticket Office and are priced at $62.50, $52.50, $42.50, and $32.50. The ticket office has a seating chart for the Auditorium but note that the seating areas/price levels denoted there are for the Northrup Dance Series and are not valid for music concerts.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10:00 AM CDT on Friday, September 7th.
Thanks to Jack and Lisa for the heads-up!
Sarah tipped us off about Michael Coppel Presents, the promoter for the upcoming shows in Australia, posting on their site that singer-songwriter George Bryne will be opening for Tori on the Australian leg of the tour. Yahoo Music, via Soundbuzz, also picked up on this.
You can check out several of George’s rootsy, country-tinged songs on his MySpace to get a feel for what to expect come September Down Under.
And while we have your attention, Michael Coppel’s concert listing indicates that the September 24th show at the Opera House in Sydney has also sold out!
According to Everything Tori, the performance date for the third Sydney show has changed. The show that was originally scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, 2007 has now been moved to Saturday September 15, 2007.
The venue – the Sydney Opera House – remains unchanged. All tickets purchased for the original date are valid for the same seats on the new performance date without need for exchange.
If you are unable to make the new September 15 date, a full refund may be obtained from the ticket outlet from which your tickets were purchased. PLEASE NOTE-if you want a refund you must get in touch with the original point of purchase by 5pm, Monday, September 10.
Thanks to Robert Schrader for spotting this and sending this in.
Even though it’s not listed on Ticketmaster yet, ToriAmos.com has announced that the on-sale date for the December 11th show at Phoenix’s Dodge Theatre is Saturday, September 22nd.
So, everyone who’s been asking, now you know!
Update: Everything Tori’s latest tour update appears to have had the September 22nd sale date added as well. In addition, they indicate that VIP tickets will be made available for that show, though, as of yet, no details have been announced about VIP packages or pre-sales.
The Washington City Paper is giving away tickets to the October 26th show at D.A.R. Constitution Hall in Washington, DC. To enter that drawing, all you have to do is create a new profile in the City Paper’s personals or add a new photo to an existing profile before August 29th.
Meanwhile, Massachusetts radio station WRNX is giving away a pair of tickets to the October 16th concert at The Oakdale (I’m contractually prevented from referring to it as The Chevrolet Theatre) in Wallingford, CT. You have to be a member of WRNX’s “Listener Advisory Board” (free registration) to win these tickets. If you are, enter the contest here. Thanks to Marci for that tip!
We’re sure there are other ticket giveaways as well so if you come across one, please let us know!
It appears that tickets for the Lawrence, KS concert on Friday, November 9th have already gone on sale at The Lied Center’s website! Decent seats still seem to be available from their allotment. Ticketmaster is also going to be selling tickets for this show starting at Noon CDT today, so if you don’t find any seats from The Lied, try Ticketmaster later today.
Thanks to Katie and Craig Fisher for the heads-up!
Update: Craig points out that orchestra seats are still available from Kansas University Ticketing while the best Ticketmaster has for sale are balcony seats. The Lied’s website actually lets you pick the exact seats from the available pool, which is a nice feature, and you can easily view which sections are sold out as well. It’s also worth mentioning that the Lied’s service fees are significantly lower than Ticketmaster’s.
This is your friendly middle-of-the-night notification to let you know that the general on-sale for Los Angeles [which was originally scheduled for this coming Monday] has been moved to Saturday, September 15th at 10am.
If you do not plan to attend the Los Angeles show and, in fact, have absolutely no idea what this “Los Angeles” is of which I speak, go back to sleep. This was all a dream.
Thanks, Jen!
