During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori will be touring in 2014 to support the release of Unrepentant Geraldines. The European legs runs from May through June and the North American legs spans July and August. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Adam Sweeting sat down for a chat with Tori for classical music website Sinifini Music and they posted a video clip of the conversation on the website yesterday. The discussion ranges from the forthcoming Light Princess musical — which The National Theatre now says will be starting in September — to how Tori started to work within classical music world again on Night of Hunters. Check out the video below:
Tori recently sat down with Pro Motion, a dance music marketing and prodution company involved with Peter Rauhofer’s “Flavor” remixes for an interview. Video of the interview was posted on their blog at the end of this week. During the relatively lengthy, as video interview clips go anyway, piece, she talks about “Flavor,” songwriting, and her thoughts on dance music as well as reminding us that that she’s working on a new non-classical record for 2014.

Unfortunately for those outside France, Belgium and Germany, those streams are unavailable. Fortunately for those outside France, Belgium and Germany, the program has been uploaded to YouTube a couple times so those of us outside the geo-fence can enjoy it too! The best-looking upload is this one from llliquidDiamonds:
Back in the Fall, Tori stopped by the New York City offices of Last.fm and spoke to them about Gold Dust, touring and the life and meaning of songs. Video of the interview was posted was finally on Last.fm’s Originals earlier weekend. Check it out below:
Journalist and TV personality Torgen Schneider interviewed Tori and has posted video of their conversation on YouTube as a two-part “Date With Tori Amos.” The first part is a discussion about Gold Dust while the second is a rather interesting and wide-ranging Q&A session.
Promoting the release of Gold Dust in France, Tori was the musical guest on the France5 television program C à vous on Wednesday, October 24th, during which she performed “Crucify.”
If you are in France, you can watch the performance on france5.fr — the segment with Tori starts around the 7:30 mark. If you are not in France, it’s YouTube to the rescue!
Many thanks to Marie at toriamos.fr and WAGA for letting us know about this! Marie also had the great fortune to be able to meet Tori before the C à vous taping. You can read about her experience on her website, where she also reports that there will be an article in the coming issue of the French Rolling Stone as well as interviews in L’Express and Pure People.
As many will recall, Tori was awarded and presented an ECHO Klassik award at a ceremony in Berlin last weekend. They had previously posted a short clip of Tori being interviewed by ECHO Klassik’s Axel Brüggemann on the red carpet before the ceremony but have since added a second clip, taken backstage after Tori had received her award, where they discuss the differences between classical and pop music with respect to risk and finding beauty in vulnerability, pain and torture in music. Ja, we like torture too…
In a video interview clip produced by Deutsche Presse-Agentur and posted on Süddeutsche Zeitung’s website, Tori talks about Gold Dust, telling and hearing stories, playing with the Metropole Orkest and getting fashion tips from her daughter.
