Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Matt points out that “Welcome to England” has charted on Billboard’s Triple A Single chart. After debuting last week at #29, it’s moved up to #17 this week.
Additionally, marco let us know that the “Maybe California” ringtone debuted as the #1 ringtone in Portugal per the Associação Fonográfica Portuguesa. Pretty impressive! Hopefully Tori takes notice and decides to visit the Iberian peninsula during the European tour.
If any happens to come across chart information for the new record or songs from it, please let us know!
As announced by our friends at Everything Tori, Abnormally Attracted to Sin can be streamed in its entirety at Tori’s Myspace page and The Guardian (presumably to make up for Anna Pickard.) Note that The Guardian’s stream includes the UK bonus track “Oscar’s Theme” as well.
Both streams will be up through Tuesday when the album is released. Enjoy!
Thanks to doiron and the many others who let us know about this!
Update: Germans can also stream the whole record from Universal Music.
The listings on Ticketmaster and Live Nation have had a few updates. All the changes have been made in the Tour xection, but here is the Executive Summary for all you CTOs (that would be Chief Tour Officers):
Thanks to Cricket and Carlos for the heads up!
[Music is] how I deal with most things in life. Music is a world. I can be sitting in a room, dealing with this red-tape stuff that we all have to deal with, and another dimension opens, and I haven’t left the room, and music just comes as things that I’ve never heard before, or things from the past that almost open up my perspective.
Tori spoke with BlackBook magazine’s Eiseley Tauginas and the interview was posted on their website yesterday. In addition to discussing the new record, they also talk about Tash, religion and performing. Check it out!
Just a quick post before running out the door to say that ToriAmos.com has posted tour dates for the United Kingdom:

Ticketmaster and iTunes are running a pre-sale promotion for these shows. If you pre-order Abnormally Attracted to Sin from the UK iTunes before 10:00 PM on May 17th, you will receive a password allowing you to buy tickets during a pre-sale that starts on May 23rd at 10:00 AM. The pre-sale will end on May 28th and tickets will go on sale to the general public on May 29th.
These dates have been added to Undented’s Tour section.
FM4 now has streaming video of the Radiosession taped last week and broadcast earlier today available for on-demand viewing. So if you happened to miss the broadcast, no need to fret. The quality — both sound and video — is quite excellent and, dare we say it, sounds better than their live stream.
The video will be available until May 24th so check it out while you can!
Out.com has posted an exclusive video clip in which Tori describes the inspiration for the song “Fire To Your Plain”:
Looks like this was taken from the same interview as the Ophelia interview so one assumes that more of these clips may surface before (and after) the record is out world-wide.
Thanks to Noah for letting us know!
InfoConcert.com is reporting that Tori wll be playing the Palais des Congrès in Paris on October 3rd. Tickets are expected to go on sale on Tuesday, May 26th.
Note: Infoconcert seems to have funky cold redirect Medina happening so if you find yourself staring at an advertisement for Mika, try going directly to InfoConcert.com after clicking the above link and you should be able to search for the news article about the concert.
Thanks to Clément for catching this!
Our friends at SameSame.com.au have a big scoop this morning (yeah I know, it’s their evening): a complete set of the visualettes from the new record. While many had already appeared on various websites and virtual storefronts, it’s nice to have them all in one place for one’s pleasure. If you’re so inclined and don’t want to spoil the surprise, take a peek and, if you like what you see, consider picking up the special edition of the new album as it features a DVD containing all these short films.
Update: Unfortunately, despite receiving the visualettes from Universal Republic completely on the up-and-up, they’ve been asked to remove all except for “Welcome to England” and “Maybe California.” Guess we’ll all just have to buy the Deluxe Edition…
Don’t forget: the session recorded last week at the Radiokulturhaus in Vienna will be broadcast today on the FM4 program Homebase. Homebase runs from 7:00 to 10:00 PM CEST and it looks like the session will air during the final hour of the program, starting at 9:00 PM CEST — that’s 8:00 PM in the UK, 3:00 PM Eastern, and Noon Pacific. However, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to tune in early just in case.
If you’re not within FM4’s broadcast range or don’t get it on digital/satellite radio, a live stream is available along with mp3 and Windows Media streams for external players.
