Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
In the e-mail announcing the tour dates, ToriAmos.com also includes some information about the the iTunes pre-sales:
If you pre-ordered Tori Amos’s new album American Doll Posse from iTunes, use the password that was emailed to you to purchase up to four presale tickets beginning July 25th at 10am. You will receive another email from iTunes when more shows become available for this promotion.
For the first leg of her tour, the shows with presales will be: Albany, NYC, Syracuse, Philadelphia, Boston, Buffalo, Washington DC, Detroit, and Louisville
Information on pre-sales for additional markets will be posted in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to www.ticketmaster.com/toriamos for updates.
Note that the iTunes pre-sales are not available for the Canadian dates, though we suppose that there may still be local pre-sales possible for the Canadian dates.
ToriAmos.com’s latest newsletter also announced there there will be “VIP Ticket Packages” available during the North American tour. A limited number of VIP packages will be made available for selected dates on the tour. According to the newsletter, there are two levels of VIP tickets.

Alfred Rossy alerted us that a new version of Toriamos.com is up. You’ll need to re-register, so run over there quick before your old username is taken!
Ticketmaster has added a listing for a concert at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston on Thursday, October 18th. As with the other two shows added today, a presale starting at 10:00 AM this Wednesday is indicated with the general sale starting on Friday, also at 10:00 AM. The presale is specifically listed as an iTunes presale so that should give hope to those wondering about that since it was first announced way back in April.
Thanks to Foxy and Tasha for the heads-up!
Update: Forgot to mention that the Philadelphia Ticketmaster listing has been removed. Don’t be surprised if the Louisville or Boston listings blink in and out of existence before the dates are finally announced fo’realz.
Ticketmaster has added listings for two shows this morning: October 15th at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and October 28th at the Palace Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky. Presales for both shows are scheduled to be held on the morning of Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00 AM local time, while the general on-sale date for both is Friday.
Bryan was the first of many to ping us about these — thanks to you all!
Thanks to adorrre for letting us know that a video clip of the press conference Tori gave before the Bucharest show on July 13th is available at metalhead.ro.
(Video moved behind the cut since it annoyingly played automatically….)
Both Mike and Chrissy B. dropped by to tell us that it looks like Tori will be playing the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Oct. 11 and 12, show starting at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $39.50 to $60 and go on sale Friday, July 27, at 10 a.m. (You have to go to the Web site and then search for Tori Amos to get the event to come up, but it’s there.) Like all the others, this date is not officially confirmed, yadda yadda yadda.
We’ve posted previously about a musical that Tori is working on for British theatre in collaboration with writer Samuel Adamson.
Tori spoke about this a bit at the press conference in Israel earlier this week. Journalist Sheer Ganor tells us:
She said she was a bit nervous, cause musicals can be disastrous, or in her words: “It could be like Sound of Music or it could be like the Paul Simon musical. I love Paul Simon but still…”. Then she added something like: “But we’re getting the girls with the long legs to appear so it should be fine”.
We’d pay to see a Tori Amos musical if there were short-legged girls in it, too. Just saying.
Israeli journalist and Toriphile Sheer Ganor attended a press conference for Tori on Thursday. You can read Sheer’s article (in Hebrew, translation anyone?), which also contains a video that’s a bit different from the one on YouTube posted earlier today. (I didn’t have any trouble getting the video to play in Safari on Mac, but it opened another window with a blank screen and took about 30 seconds to start up, so after you click to play, be patient. If more then a minute passes, then it’s safe to assume it won’t work for you.)
Plenty has already been said about the Dolls and their fashion sense, but the celeb-watchers over at Molly Good decided to take a turn recently, and came up with a piece called Character Study. The entry is short on verbiage but includes several nice shots of the Dolls on stage. Thanks to Astred for the tip!
