Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
We had the wrong Ticketmaster links up for the second Melbourne (September 11th) and second and third Sydney (September 24th & 25th) shows.
Go, run, buy lots of tickets to these shows. You know you wanna.
(It was woj’s fault. Bad woj!)
Ticketmaster is now listing a San Diego show at Copley Symphony Hall on Wednesday, December 12th. The general on-sale is listed as Saturday, August 11th, at 10:00am PT. (No word yet on an iTunes presale date/time.) (Thanks to Robert Schrader and Melissa for sharing this news.)
UPDATE August 4th: The San Diego show page was quickly taken down, which comes as no surprise to us. Try not to be alarmed. This happens a lot. Once a date shows up on Ticketmaster, the concert date/time/location is normally set, but the on-sale date/time may not be. Just sit tight, hang on to your towels, and Don’t Panic.
On Friday, August 10th at 23:35 BST, BBC Two Scotland will air highlights from T In The Park that will include some footage from Tori’s performance. Their listings don’t yet extend out that far but it should come up when next Friday’s programming is added this Saturday. Thanks to Lucy and Frank for letting us know about this about this!
Philippe M let us know that tickets for the October 21st show in Montreal will go on sale at Admission.com on Saturday, August 4th, at noon.
We know the VIP sales thing is confusing. We’re going to try to clear things up for you as much as we can…
The pages for the Syracuse and Buffalo shows list the VIP sales for August 2nd in the right column. The Albany listing does not show this, but we think this is simply an oversight.
What matters is that all three shows are listed on the VIP promotion page, and that page says that these are the shows going on VIP sale on August 2nd at 10am ET. Now, granted, the information at the bottom of that page says that all three go “on sale” on August 3rd, but they’re simply listing the on-sale time for the general sales.
So tomorrow, August 2nd, at 10am, go to the page for whichever show you’re interested in, and they should go on sale (“should” being the operative word here). UPDATE: Actually, we don’t know if the shows will go on sale on the regular pages, or if they’ll be sold on the VIP promotion page, so check both!
Now, pricing… Prices through The Tori Store were going to be around $100 for GOLD pagkages, and $150 for PLATINUM packages. We won’t know what Ticketmaster is charging until they go on sale. We’ve been told that fans should expect Ticketmaster to add some fees, but nothing outrageous or all that different than what they were before. We’ll have to wait to see, though.
You DO NOT need a password or special code to participate in the VIP sales. They are open to everyone. But remember … if someone else is purchasing tickets for you on their credit card and they will not be attending the show with you, they must list your street address — the one on your ID/Driver’s License — as the shipping address on the order or you will not be able to pick your tickets up on the day of the show. Multiple tickets may be purchased in a single order, but only the person(s) listed under the shipping and/or billing address will be able to pick them up.
We hope this clears some things up. We’re crossing our fingers for you!
Thanks to Jennytalula and Jupiter for letting us know that German radio station Radio Eins will be airing the July 3rd concert from the Hammersmith Apollo in London tonight, Wednesday, August 1st!
The broadcast starts at 23:00 CEST — that’s 10:00 PM in London, 5:00 PM in New York City and 2:00 PM in San Francisco and wicked early Thursday morning in Australia.
If the setlist provides indicates what will be broadcast, Radio Eins will not be airing the entire concert. “Bells For Her”, “Spring Haze”, “Tear In Your Hand” and “Hey Jupiter” will be omitted.
Listen to Radio Eins on terrestrial analog and digital radio, satellite radio and cable or you can stream their signal in Real Audio or Windows Media.

In the latest newsletter from ToriAmos.com, they link to the Place des Arts’ website (English version) as the place to procure tickets when they go on-sale on August 4th at Noon EDT. Sure enough, there’s a ticket reservation system with a listing for the performance, so it does not appear that tickets for this show will be available through Ticketmaster, Admission or any other ticket vendor. Hopefully, their system will be up to the task of serving the Quebecois Toriphiles!
The only additional tidbit of information in the listing is the specific venue Tori will be playing at Place des Arts: Salle Winfrid-Pelletier.
“People keep talking to me about the Dixie Chicks. I say to them, ‘Have you even been to one of my shows?’ If I had to entertain the current administration, that would be the end of my career.”
Katherine and Trace linked us to this Sydney Morning Herald article previewing the September tour in Australia. One would think July is a little too early to promote concerts in September, but considering that a couple of those concerts are already sold out, maybe it’s not such a bad idea after all….
Pollstar, a tour date listing site, also posts news articles and Tori’s North American tour announcement certainly got their attention. Unlike other press about the tour announcement though, Pollstar spiced it up by incorporating some of Tori’s quotes from the promotional materials included with advance copies of the album, though it took a few minutes to remember where we’d heard, “I think that these women are showing me that I have not explored honest extensions of the self who are now as real as the redhead,” before. Kudos to Pollstar for making it interesting!
Speaking of which, does anyone have actual copies of that stuff? The text of it was hijacked by Starpulse and others so but we don’t think actual scans of those materials have seen the light of day.
