Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Amazon has added a video of “Almost Rosey” to their listings for the regular and special editions of for American Doll Posse. The clip is taken from the bonus DVD included with the special edition of the album. Unsurprisingly, the video has surfaced on YouTube as well:
A multitude of folks contacted us about this but Damien was the first to do so thanks to him for that.
Anything a wife should do, I’m terrible at. Anything a mistress should do, I’ll try.
Beverly and Laura told us about this short interview published by UK newspaper The Independent.
I’m not sure this is technically news-worthy but since I’m in news-postin’-robot mode, I’ll mention that American Doll Posse has Perez Hilton all confounded and perpuzzled. Not sure if that bodes good or bad, but there you go. A tip of the hat to Fabz and Armen for the pointer.
Entertainment Weekly reviewed American Doll Posse in their April 27/May 4 double issue (#931/932).
Amos’ ninth album is sung from the POV of five characters, each represented in the booklet by various costumes and wigs, a la 2001’s Strange Little Girls. Good luck figuring out who’s who, since “Isabel,” “Clyde,” “Pip,” “Santa,” and “Tori,” mostly seem to share their creator’s sassy, anti-patriarchal, divine-feminist sensibility…but they’ll all be getting their own blogs, so we can sort that out later. Too bad Posse is a conceptual wreck, because it benefits from some of the beefiest, most borderline-glam-rock moments Amos has put to record. — C+
Thanks to joe, Nathan and David for the tip!
Dutch news site Novum interviewed Tori and posted the video (in Windows Media) on Zoomin.tv. If prompted, click on the button that says “Nee” and you should be redirected to the video. Alternatively, the interview has been uploaded to YouTube as well. Careful though, Tori’s language is “colorful” as always!
Thanks to Michel, Damien and Pippin for letting us know. Michel also points out that there is a second part to this interview which will be made available when the album is released, so stay tuned for that!
Following Tori’s appearance on Spijkers met Koppen last weekend, 3VOOR12 Lokaal posted a long article about the event that includes several lovely photos taken by Els Oostveen and mp3s of all the songs that she performed at the appearance. (And they even link to Undented! Thanks!)
Thanks to Peter and J@ckieee for pointing this out! And if anyone can provide a translation of the article to English, that would be appreciated.
CrystallineColey and umpalumpa wrote in to tell us that Tori’s “Loose Women” interview and performances are now available on YouTube. Now you can see that wig in all its glory.

We have it on good authority that Tori will appear on KROQ’s Kevin & Bean Show April 26. We can’t wait to hear what they’ll make of the Posse.
Tori has been inducted into the WTTS Cage Match Hall of Fame after “Big Wheel” won said cage match 10 nights in a row. Many thanks to all of you for keeping us well informed on Tori’s progress.
While we’re on the topic of “Big Wheel,” the single was named one of Baltimore Sun writer Glenn Gamboa’s songs of the week he pegs it as “her most likable work in years.” Thanks to Missy for sending this one in.
As we reported yesterday, the single continues to climb, hitting #19 on Radio & Records’ AAA chart and winning an Airpower Award for its high-speed ascension. Ivan, thanks for updating us.
Pink Is The New Blog is offering a contest to win a copy of American Doll Posse. To enter, all you need to do is send them a picture of yourself and Tori (or yourself with a piece of Tori memorabilia) that has been “Pinkified” with hearts, stars, or other cute doodads. Hey, at least you don’t have to slap a wig on your head. David, thanks for the pointer.
