During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Tori will be doing a taping for the Connecticut Public Television program Infinity Hall Live on Monday, October 8th at Infinity Hall in Norfolk, Connecticut. Limited tickets for this intimate venue are on sale now via the Infinity Hall box office.
Update: the performance is sold out!
Featuring a very nice conversation with New York Times music critic Jon Pareles, a question and answer session with audience members and two as-of-yet unshared songs from Gold Dust (“Cloud On My Tongue” and “Flying Dutchman”), Tori’s appearance at Times Talk Madrid just wrapped up a short time ago. The event was webcast and is now archived so if you missed it or just want to watch it again, stream it on Livestream.
Just a quick reminder that Tori will be chatting with New York Times music critic Jon Pareles about Gold Dust in Madrid today as part of the New York Times’ Times Talk Madrid event. Their conversation is scheduled to start at 9:00 PM CEST, so it’ll be getting started about a hour from when this post goes up. The event will be webcast and, hopefully, archived for later viewing as well.
Friday afternoon, Tori visited the offices of Spanish newspaper El Mundo to do an online interview where she fielded questions submitted by readers on their website. She responded to a total of eight questions and, unsurprisingly, the first query was about when she would come to play a concert in Spain. Her response will please many on the Iberian peninsula as she said, after focusing on The Light Princess in 2013, she is hoping to come to Spain in 2014, when touring in support of her next album. Good news indeed!

In addition to this weekend’s TimesTalk in Madrid and next week’s appearance on Radcliffe and Maconie, two new media appearances in the Gold Dust media onslaught have surfaced.
First, LBC presenter Steve Allen interviewed Tori earlier this week and their conversation will be broadcast on his weekly In Conversation With program on Sunday, September 23rd at 6:00 AM BST. Yeah, it’s early in the morning locally (and late tonight for those in North America) but LBC programs are not archived and their podcasts are a pay-service so getting up early (or staying up late) for it might be in order. Note: while the interview is not mentioned in the description for the show in their schedule, it is confirmed at the end of Steve Allen’s latest blog.
Second, BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour will welcome Tori in for a chat and live performance on Monday, September 24th at 10:00 AM BST — a much more felicitous airtime we would say. In any case, if you miss it, this program will be archived on iPlayer for a week following the broadcast.

After being in European iTunes stores for over a week, Gold Dust is now available for pre-order in both the regular and deluxe editions at the US iTunes store. As with the deluxe editions listed elsewhere, the US digital deluxe edition on iTunes includes “Maybe California” as an extra track.
Given that, it’s looking pretty clear at this point that at least iTunes and Amazon will be offering exclusive tracks with the digital deluxe editions they are selling. Amazon.com has yet to list the digital editions of the album but we expect, once they do, that “Snow Angel” will be included with theirs.
Venerable Boston-based record store Newbury Records was offering their usual special promotion for those pre-ordering the deluxe CD/DVD edition of Gold Dust: signed booklets! Unfortunately, they have sold out of the signed copies, but are still taking pre-orders for the regular and deluxe editions of the album.
In any case, whether you prefer your music physical or digital, ToriAmos.com is running a pre-release sweepstakes to win personally signed copies of the deluxe edition of Gold Dust. To enter the drawing for a chance to win 1 of 20 of these prizes, you’ll need to pre-order Gold Dust, upload a screenshot of photo of the order confirmation and fill out the forms at that link above. Unfortuantely, the contest is only open to residents of the lower 48 United States.
Finally, clips of Gold Dust are now available on German retailer JPC.
Thanks to Harry, Alfred, inka and roel for the links and such.
Keep a close eye on PopMatters over the coming days as the release of Gold Dust draws near as Tori will be the first musician to enjoy the lavish attention of their Performer Spotlight.
The week-long series will feature segments from a lengthy interview with Tori they did for release of Gold Dust — a snippet of which explaining the lack of orchestral shows outside of Europe is included in the announcement about the series — as well as an artist-guided tour through all of Tori’s oeuvre, starting from Little Earthquakes and culminating in the Gold Dust retrospective.
Very much something to look forward to! Thanks to Pavel for the pointer!
Another day and another new song from Gold Dust surfaces to whet ones appetite for the record. This time, it’s “Girl Disappearing,” shared by the fine folks at The Noisey. Give it a listen!
The Daily Beast hosts the exclusive premiere of “Jackie’s Strength” from the upcoming Gold Dust album.
BBC Entertainment & News has posted a second video clip from Tim Masters’ interview with Tori. This time, the subject is The Light Princess musical: its current status and plans for 2013.
View the clip at bbc.co.uk. Below is the accompanying caption that was posted with it.
Tori Amos: ‘Princess musical has to be better than good’
18 September 2012 Last updated at 19:31 ET
Singer Tori Amos says she hopes her musical The Light Princess will be ready by the end of 2013.
The singer said the project, which was put on hold in October last year, is a “great challenge”.
She told the BBC’s Tim Masters she has been working with the National Theatre’s Sir Nicholas Hytner on making the musical “better than good”.
Thanks to @EarWithFeet the tip!
Update: A longer article has been posted as well. It includes the same video clip though.
Update: Broadway.com and The Guardian both reported on the status of the musical based on the BBC’s interview and article.
