Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
The onstage adrenaline drug is so desirable. A lot of performers, when they walk off (the stage), they don’t let that go. But you have to, because if you don’t, it will destroy you. You can’t contain that energy every day, 24 hours a day. The only way to get that adrenaline is being on stage. You have to hand it back to the muses and step back into human form again.
From last Friday’s edition of the Deseret News comes this interview previewing Monday’s show in Salt Lake City. Tori and writer Pat Reavy chat about touring and performing and concludes with a special shout-out to the PS22 chorus directed by friend-of-the-site Mr B!
I think there are certain songs that give people that magic mushroom moment. I think “Precious Things” is one of those songs. People like it to be there. And if it’s not somewhere in the show, they walk away and really miss that moment. And the reason is your whole body is moving with those pounding drums and you walk away feeling as if you’ve had this hallucinogenic trip – without doing something that gets you arrested, hopefully!
This short but sweet interview appeared in the July 14th edition of the Arizona Republic. In it, as you might expect for an article promoting the then-upcoming show at the Dodge, they primarily discuss touring and performing live but the conversation also turned towards Christian Lamb’s visuallettes as well.

Where’s the balance between the puritanical and cheap, guttural trash? There is a balance, and I’m trying to find it. For myself.
This brief article by Tom Lanham previewing the concerts in Oakland and San Jose appeared in the July 9th edition of the San Francisco Examiner.
All of them are stupid, because they’re not recognizing that it’s a double-album form. And if you don’t like the double-album form, then you shouldn’t be reviewing a double album. Then just shut your … mouth.
Prior to this week’s show at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, this interview appeared in the San Jose Mercury News. In it, Tori discusses touring with Tash in tow, iPods, and the new record and has the excepted stern words for those who don’t like double-albums.
I like every tour to be somewhat different. I think this (tour) covers a wider range of the catalog. And this album that I’ve just put out, to me it is not a concept album. It is a red-headed woman singing songs. And so I think that this tour is very song driven instead of production driven.
In another concert preview, the News Tribune’s Ernest Jasmin chatted with Tori about what to expect at her show in Seattle tonight, Abnormally Attracted to Sin and the prevalence of piano pop.
The author also posted a couple audio clips from the interview on the Tacoma Rock City blog a few days ago as a sneak preview of the interview which was published today.
I’d like to tell you that at 89 I’m going to be out there in a pair of really groovy high heels (even if I have to get crutches to get me up) and playing four keyboards at a time. (Laughs) Oh Granny Tori.
This pre-tour interview appeared in Seattle Weekly’s Reverb music blog yesterday. In it, Tori discusses the new album, her career, the place of women in the music industry and briefly touches on what to expect during the Sinful Attraction tour.

The August 2009 issue of Diva Magazine includes a feature article on the role Tori has played helping and supporting survivors of sexual abuse and rape. The article, written by Deborah Finding, specifically addresses the genesis of Pandora’s Project, an online support group and information source for survivors. An excerpt of the article is available on Diva’s website while the whole article can be found in the August issue available now from Diva Direct.
When you’re dealing with men with real power they only want you if you’re willing. It’s about the dance between the male and female. Real power is about exchange, not subordination.
Tori is the latest woman to share her observations and thoughts on the opposite sex in The Observer’s series What I Know About Men.
There are hundreds of songs in the catalog, and I had to prioritize songs that weren’t the same — some that are more rhythmic, some that have a more confrontational side, some that are more piano-based — and find a balance so that after a two-hour show people feel like they’ve had the full experience. So I’ve tried to create, with Matt Chamberlain on drums and Jon Evans on bass, a dynamic kind of show.
Kenny pointed out this short interview from the Atlanta Journal Constitution that was published earlier this week. In it, Tori talks about playing in Atlanta, touches on what the Sinful Attraction performances will be like and has a pointed message for Maynard James Keenan.
I find it very sexy when women have the answers. There are certain things that time and experience gives you. Youth gives you other gifts, but being able to sail through dark days and upheavals in your life is a very important trait.
Tori was interviewed for Venus Zine by Erin Lyndal Martin last month (those with sharp memories may recall she interviewed Tori for Pop Matters last summer during the Comic Book Tattoo blitz). In addition to touching on the usual topics of power and sin during their conversation, Tori also dwelled on secrecy, oppression and the value of experience. Check it out!
