Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
The listings on Ticketmaster and Live Nation have had a few updates. All the changes have been made in the Tour xection, but here is the Executive Summary for all you CTOs (that would be Chief Tour Officers):
Thanks to Cricket and Carlos for the heads up!
Just a quick post before running out the door to say that ToriAmos.com has posted tour dates for the United Kingdom:
Date | City | Venue |
---|---|---|
09/06/09 | Manchester, UK | Manchester Apollo |
09/07/09 | Birmingham, UK | Birmingham Symphony Hall |
09/08/09 | Glasgow, UK | Royal Concert Hall |
09/10/09 | London, UK | Hammersmith Apollo |
Ticketmaster and iTunes are running a pre-sale promotion for these shows. If you pre-order Abnormally Attracted to Sin from the UK iTunes before 10:00 PM on May 17th, you will receive a password allowing you to buy tickets during a pre-sale that starts on May 23rd at 10:00 AM. The pre-sale will end on May 28th and tickets will go on sale to the general public on May 29th.
These dates have been added to Undented’s Tour section.
InfoConcert.com is reporting that Tori wll be playing the Palais des Congrès in Paris on October 3rd. Tickets are expected to go on sale on Tuesday, May 26th.
Note: Infoconcert seems to have funky cold redirect Medina happening so if you find yourself staring at an advertisement for Mika, try going directly to InfoConcert.com after clicking the above link and you should be able to search for the news article about the concert.
Thanks to Clément for catching this!
Interestingly, few, if any, reviews of the Acoustically Attracted to Sin concert at the Savoy have popped up in the British press. Perhaps this is related to the postponement? Maybe some of the bigger newspapers have yet to publish their reviews? Or maybe England just doesn’t want her there anymore?
In any event, there have been some which we’ve added links to from the concert page in the tour section, including reviews by Little Blue World and Wears The Trousers contributor Alex Ramon, Kush for Pink is the New Blog and, of all sites, The Gossip Girls.
More than a few galleries of photographs taken at the show have surfaced as well: Gigwise and Drowned in Sound have some nice collections and several shots can be found at that review from the Gossip Girls as well. We’ve received several photographs taken by fans as well which have been posted.
Finally, it seems that all you have to do is play a one-off show in London to attract attention as both TMZ and Media Take Out took the opportunity offered by the new concert photos to offer the astute and scholarly commentary that only they could provide. Ah well, media attention is the goal, right?
Thanks to Lindsay, Stacy, Bob, Rebecca and Jennifer for helping out with this article.
In the past hour or so, ToriAmos.com has gotten a complete facelift with a lot more content including, probably of greatest interest, dates for the North American leg of the tour! Read ‘em and weep!
Update: We’ve just gotten word that the Boston show should not be going on sale this Friday. Pre-sales are planned, as Live Daily reported, for May 28th and 29th and passwords will be sent prior to that, after the pre-sale offer concludes on May 18th. Exactly which cities will be included in the pre-sale will be forthcoming.
2009-05-13 Update @ 5 PM ET: Live Nation has changed the sale date for the Boston show to Saturday, May 30th.
Thanks Curt for the tip!

Live Nation has added two concerts to their listings for Tori: Massey Hall in Toronto on August 10th and, as rumored previously, Bank of America Pavilion in Boston on August 17th. Both have on-sale dates coming up extremely soon: Boston on this Friday, May 15th and Toronto on the following Friday, May 22nd. Several people have written to get this scoop on this since the conventional wisdom, due to what we knew about the iTunes pre-sale, was that tickets would start to go on-sale at the end of the month.
Well, it appears that it’s not that simple…
Stephen contacted iTunes and learned that the personalized passwords from the pre-sale will be sent out on May 25th (which jives with the May 28th pre-sale date that Live Daily reported) but that not all dates on the North American leg of the tour will be included in the pre-sale.
While we kind of suspected the latter based upon the short list of cities included in the pre-sale promotion, it’s extremely disappointing that that fact wasn’t made perfectly clear from the start since that makes any iTunes pre-orders in markets where there won’t be a concert that is part of the promotion pointless — at least as far as pre-ordering for the sake of the pre-sale goes.
Stephen also contacted Live Nation and confirmed that the Boston concert does, in fact, go on-sale this Friday and was also told that there is no pre-sale for that show.
We’ll see if we can learn any more details about the pre-sale given what has come to light…
The setlist for Acoustically Attracted to Sin is in — thank you Jurgen — and, despite what Tori said about Abnormally Attracted to Sin not lending itself to solo performance on piano, she managed to crank out five songs from new record: “Maybe California” and “Welcome to England” along with the three that were played live at SXSW. Otherwise, the set featured “Famous Blue Raincoat” as an opening cover, “Wednesday,” “Cool on Your Island,” and, during the only encore, “Over The Rainbow.” The rest of the setlist is posted in the Tour section.
If you were there and would like to share your thoughts about the performance, please leave a comment using the form there. And if you happen to have photos or video to share, we’d love to post them on the page! E-mail Violet and we’ll get them posted.
Looks like tickets for the Amsterdam show in September went on sale a hour earlier than advertised. Not sure if this due to another secret pre-sale or just general misinformation. In any event, it’s on sale now at TopTicketLine and there are still seats available.
Fortunately, we haven’t heard of any issues with the Vienna sale so hopefully everyone who was buying for that concert ended up with seats that they are happy with.
Bob Jillis reports that The Alternative, the Amsterdam concert promoter, held an unexpected pre-sale today at TopTicketLine. Alas, it seems that the pre-sale is either over or the supply of seats exhausted. Unfortunately, the news about this trickled in while I was trapped at work, so apologies to any who may have missed the opportunity to get tickets early. The general sale starts Saturday morning at 10:00 AM local time so set your alarms if you still need tickets.
One tidbit of good news from this: Heineken Music Hall, which is often a general admission standing venue, will have reserved seating for this event.
Turns out that tickets for the September 17th show at the Heineken Music Hall go on-sale tomorrow, Saturday, May 9th at 10:00 AM CEST. We thought the 3VOOR12 Live host may have said that but weren’t sure — however, it’s right there in black and white on HMH’s website now. Tickets will be sold through TopTicketLine.
Also, as mentioned yesterday, tickets for the Vienna stop on the tour, at Stadthalle on September 25th, go on sale tomorrow. Ticket information for Stadthalle events can be found on their website.
