Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Charles Runnells offers up his opinion of last night’s show at the Mann Performing Arts Center in Fort Myers for The News-Press. The review was posted on their entiertainment website, Gulf Coasting Live on November 18th.
Tonight’s show in Fort Myers was opened by Isabel. She increased her repertoire by one, playing the elusive “Mountain” one song into her set which also included “Sweet Sangria” and “Tombigbee”. Not to be outdone, Tori brought one tour debut to the table: “Suede”. The set also featured the rarely performed “Seaside” during T & Bö.
As you might imagine, the full setlist has been posted in the Tour section. Thanks to pianoguy7883 and Ryan for providing it this evening!
Also as you might imagine, we’d all love to hear what everyone thought of the concert. If you care to share, please use the form at the bottom of the Fort Myers page to record your review for posterity.
This show is available for download from Legs & Boots.
Pip opened the November 16th show at the Orlando’s Hard Rock Live, busting out “Heart of Gold” for the first time since the European leg of the tour. Tori’s set contained some surprises as well too: “A Case of You” and “Toast” (a tour debut!) were played during T & Bö and “Past The Mission” was debuted as well, but the real corker was during the first encore when “Not David Bowie” was performed for the first time ever!
The full setlist, which was sent in by Julia Goolia, spinnyboy and romandj, has been posted in the tour section. If you were there, feel free to use the comment form there to send in your review of the show!
Unfortunately, this show is not slated for release via Legs & Boots.
Kenny Franklin reviewed the concert at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre for Emory University’s student newspaper, The Wheel. The review appeared in the November 15th edition of the paper. Check it out on their website or below.
Thanks to Kenny for letting us know about the review and extra special thanks for the shout-out in the article for the site!
Jonathan Williams’ preview for the 14th of November 2007 Atlanta concert, was published on the 8th of November 2007 in the Journal-Constitution.
The Riverside Auditorium in Milwaukee, where Tori played on the 3rd of November 2007, added some pictures and a video from the concert to their website. As it turns out, the video is ribbonoflithium’s video of “Carbon” that she posted to YouTube! Very cool that they took notice!
Thank you Josh, missy and Wendy Goetz for sending this in!
Kimberly told us that Access-Atlanta has a bunch of Santa-licious concert photos up. They are from the 14th November 2007 Atlanta show, at the Fox Theatre. Now, start drooling!
Santa opened the show tonight at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. She added a new song to her oeuvre this evening: her version of “Carnival”, from the soundtrack of the film Black Orpheus . (To clarify since people have been calling us on this: that film is the original source of the song. Tori’s cover of it, of course, appeared on the Mission Impossible 2 soundtrack.) This was a tour debut and the first time Tori’s performed it since 2003. “The Power Of Orange Knickers” was played for the second time in three nights. The solo T & Bö portion of the concert consisted of “Beulah Land” and “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. The full setlist, thanks to spinnyboy and Marbs, has been posted in the Tour section.
If you were there and want to share what you thought of the performance, please use the comment form at the bottom of that page.
This show is not slated for release as an official bootleg via Legs & Boots.
One of The Charlotte Observer’s music critics, Courtney Devores, reviewed the Ovens Auditorium concert in the November 14th edition of the paper. The review is on their website and below.
The November 13th show at Ovens Auditorium was opened by Clyde whose set featured the return of “Rattlesnakes” (a cover, as the show is not slated for release via Legs & Boots). Tori’s portion of the evening, however, contains the big surprise: the first-ever performance of “Mountain”, a Scarlet’s Walk b-side that fans have been requesting for many moons. She also covered James Taylor’s “Carolina On My Mind” (played during a band segment, but performed solo) and played “Marianne” and Leonard Cohen’s “Famous Blue Raincoat” during the solo T & Bö section.
The full setlist, thanks to spinnyboy and jupitre is now posted on the Charlotte page in the Tour section.
If you were there and would like to share your thoughts on the evening, we’d love to hear them! You can do so using the comment form at the bottom of the Charlotte page.
