Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Tonight’s show at Andrew Jackson Hall at TPAC was opened by Isabel. While she didn’t add to her repertoire, Tori did by debuting “The Power Of Orange Knickers” with the band. Other interesting songs performed this evening included “Glory Of The 80s”, “Cool On Your Island” (during T & Bö), “Cooling” (also during T & Bö, including the brambles verse), and “Hotel”. Check out the full setlist, thanks to spinnyboy and Marbs, in the Tour section.
If you were there and want to comment on the performance, we’d love to hear what you thought! Please do so using the comment form at the bottom of the Nashville page.
A recording of this concert should be available on Legs & Boots soon!
Niz Proskocil reviewed Saturday’s concert at the Omaha Music Hall for the November 11th edition of the Omaha World-Record. Read the review on Omaha.com or read it below. Thanks to Kimberly for letting us know about the review!
Matt Mazur, who interviewed Tori for Pop Matters over the summer, has written another piece for the same publication: a two-part essay discussing Tori’s portrayal of the Doll Posse during the concerts he saw on the tour, in particular the most overlooked member: Tori herself.
The first part was published on November 9th while the second part hit the virtual magazine stand today, November 12th.
Thanks to DMC for the link!
Santa swang through Nebraska last night, opening the show at the Omaha Music Hall. While “Raspberry Swirl” came out to play for the second time this tour, that was overshadowed by the first-ever performances of “Bug A Martini” (from Scarlet’s Hidden Treasures) and “Peeping Tommi” (from A Piano)! The latter was played solo during the “T & Bö” portion of the evening that was completed by “Leather”. Other highlights of the evening included “She’s Your Cocaine” and “Father Lucifer”. The full setlist is posted in the Tour section.
If you were there and would like to share your opinion about the performance, please use the comment form at the bottom of the Omaha page.
Unfortunately, it appears that this show is no longer on the pre-order list at Legs & Boots. I’m pretty sure it was there before though but it looks like the Lawrence show has replaced it (I’m pretty sure Lawrence was not on the list previously), so perhaps Omaha was listed in error earlier.
Update: Several people have contacted the Legs & Boots customer support and were told that the Omaha concert will not be released due to technical issues during the performance. Thanks to toritattoo and Alan for letting us know.
Clyde came out to play in Kansas last night. The show wasn’t the char-fest that many fans were hoping for, but a few songs on the theme of injustice/intolerance did slide in (“Little Amsterdam,” “Virginia,” “Juarez,” “Mother Revolution”). Tori also made a point of mentioning that [her guitarist] Dan Phelps was not related to Fred Phelps. “Frog On My Toe” made its first appearance this tour.
If you were at this show, head over to the Tour section to share your experience.
This concert is available for purchase as a digital download from Legs & Boots.
Seems the kind and gentle God Hates Fags folks will be picketing the show in Lawrence, Kansas, this evening from 7:15-8:00pm.
This group is monitored by the Anti-Defamation League and classified by many as a hate group.
These peeps are clearly in need of some serious schnoogling! Take them some cookies, give them hugs, dance and wear party hats, sing a round of “Kumbaya” for them … whatever it takes to demonstrate that Tori and Toriphiles are all about the peace and lurve. (Perhaps best to leave the hard cocks at home for this one.)
Thanks to Jen for the tip.
UPDATE: We’re told Miss T.‘s crew are all decked out in the “Homo Spirituality” t-shirts [that are being sold on this tour] for the occasion. Go Team Tori!!!
Greg Kot’s review of the November 5th Chicago concert at the Auditorium Theatre was published in the Chicago Tribune on November 7th, 2007. It was also posted online. The review comes with a very nice picture of Santa-without-armpit-hair. Thank you AmyWaz, Rodney, Dawn, Bianca, Ben, and Michelle for sending this in!
The Cleveland Free Times has published their review of Tori’s November 1st perfomance at the State Theatre. You’ll need to scroll a bit, or you can jump the cut to read it here.
Isabel must have something for cities with names that end in “-apolis” as she was the opener for last night’s concert at Northrup Auditorium in Minneapolis. Her set included the usual features of “Sweet Dreams”, “In The Springtime Of His Voodoo”, “Tombigbee” and “Scarlet’s Walk” — again performed with the lamp prop.
Tori’s set featured, during T & Bö, the tour debut of “Graveyard”, which hadn’t been played since the On Scarlet’s Walk tour. Other highlights from the show included “Pancake”, “Siren”, and “Black Dove (January)”.
The full setlist, sent to us by Robyn, has been posted on the Minneapolis page. If you were at the show and want to join the others who have already opined on the show, use the comment form at the bottom of that page to let us know.
Pip opened tonight’s show at The Vic in Chicago. Many would argue that she closed it too as her portion of the evening ended with a full-band performance of “Me And A Gun”.
Let’s pause for a moment so that you, gentle reader, can absorb that.
Pip. “Me And A Gun.” With a band. With props. A knife. And a gun.
Got all that? Yeah, me neither. Okay, continuing on….
Other highlights of the setlist included “Sugar”, “Almost Rosey” (played during Tori’s set), “Liquid Diamonds”, “Digital Ghost” and “Hotel”. The solo songs during T& Bö were “Winter” and “happy Phantom”. The full setlist, which came to us this evening via Jacob and Guildenstern, can be found in the Tour section.
If you were there — and have managed to pick your jaw up off the sticky floor of The Vic and can type — please let everyone know what the heck just happened!
This concert is available for purchase as a digital download from Legs & Boots.
Update: a video of the “Me And A Gun” performance surfaced overnight and we added it to the Chicago page this morning.
Also, as several of you have pointed out, Perez Hilton has picked up on the news and the YouTube clip as well. Thanks Melissa, Peter and Roz!
