Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Just a quick reminder that the pre-sale for the Unrepentant Geraldines Tour’s stop at Humphreys Concerts By The Bay in San Diego starts tomorrow, Tuesday, April 1st at 10:00 AM Pacific via Ticketmaster.
If you pre-ordered the album through MyPlay Direct and selected the San Diego pre-sale option, you should have gotten the password for the pre-sale via e-mail today. If you didn’t, double-check your spam folders and, if necessary, contact MyPlay Direct for assistance. They should be able to help you out.
The pre-sale continues through Friday at 10:00 PM Pacific time with the public sale starting at 10:00 AM Pacific on Saturday, April 5th.
Good luck to all going for seats tomorrow!
The Unrepentent Geraldines album pre-order pre-sale for the Los Angeles show at The Greek Theatre goes down today. The password should have been e-mailed out yesterday to anyone who pre-ordered the album from MyPlay Direct with the pre-sale option before Noon this past Friday. If you did get in on that album pre-order and have not received the password (and have made sure it’s not in a spam folder), contact MyPlay Direct and they will help you out.
The pre-sale is being handled by Ticketmaster, starts at 10:00 AM PDT today, and continues through to Friday evening at 10:00 PM PDT.
Ticketmaster also lists an “Internet pre-sale” starting Friday, March 21st at 10:00 AM PDT and ending at 10:00 PM PDT. Usually, those sorts of things are driven by either the venue or promoter with details being sent via their e-mail newsletters. Sign up for The Greek’s newsletter here and Nederlander Concerts’ newsletter on their website.
Finally, if the pre-sale hoopla passes you by, tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday, March 22nd at 10:00 AM PDT.
Rumors that Tori would return to South Africa on the Unrepentent Geraldines tour had been swirling around for the past several weeks and it now appears they are are true as Computicket.com has added listings and is selling tickets for four shows there: two nights in Johannesberg on June 26th and 27th and two nights in Cape Town on June 29th and 30th.
These shows are not yet listed on ToriAmos.com. However, given the sales of tickets and the fact the these shows are being presented by the same organization that brought her to South Africa for the first time in 2011, one would think it’s as good as confirmed.
Update: Shows have been officially confirmed via Tumblr and Twitter.
Novinite.com reports that a new show has been added to the European leg of the Unrepentant Geraldines tour at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, Bulgaria on June 20th. Tickets are on sale now via Eventim and Ticketportal. While the concert is not listed on the NDK’s website, those are reputable ticketing agencies, so it looks like her first visit to Bulgaria is legit…
Update: Looks like EventEase is presenting the concert. Here is their announcement about the show. It’s in Bulgarian (natch) but Google translate does a pretty good job…
Update: This show is confirmed on the European tour listing on ToriAmos.com.
Well, here we go.
Tickets for all of the dates on the North American leg of the Unrepentant Geraldines tour — except for Los Angeles, San Diego, and Cleveland — go on sale this week.
All shows on sale this week, with the exception of the first night in New York City, have pre-sales for those who pre-ordered the album from the Tori Store on Tuesday, March 4th at 10:00 AM local time. Codes for those pre-sales will be sent via e-mail sometime during the day on Monday. According to MyPlay Direct, the codes are only good for show you selected when you pre-ordered the record and the number of tickets you can purchase is set by the venue and ticketing agency. Several of the Ticketmater listings explicitly state that the number of tickets that can be purchased during the pre-sale and they’re all the same as the regular sale limits.
General sales for all shows take place on Friday, March 7th with the exception of Clearwater which takes place on Saturday, March 8th.
In addition, there are a number of other pre-sales handled by the venues scheduled throughout the week for many of the shows. We don’t have details on all of them but if we get wind of anything, we will pass it along as possible.
A full listing of all the sales that we know of after the jump. If you hear of any others or have any additional details, please let us know!.
Good luck to everyone purchasing tickets this week!
Something that escaped our notice when the Unrepentant Geraldines pre-order pre-sale was announced last week is that there is a deadline for pre-ordering the record to receive one of the pre-sale codes.
For all pre-sales taking place next week on Tuesday, March 4th — which is all of them except the ones for Los Angeles, San Diego, and Cleveland — you must pre-order the album, in which ever format, by Noon Eastern on Friday, February 28th. At that time, we assume the pre-sale pre-orders will be inactivated or removed outright.
As for the timing of the pre-sale code delivery, the Tori Store indicates that they will be e-mailed within 24 hours of the pre-sale taking place. Today’s social media updates specifically say the codes will be e-mailed on Monday, March 3rd, so they should all arrived by next Monday evening.
If the other pre-sales follow the same pattern, we anticipate the deadlines will be March 14th for Los Angeles, March 28th for San Diego, and April 4th for Cleveland — but don’t quote us on that!
In related news, Broadway World Music reported on the two shows at New York City’s Beacon Theatre. According to the article, there will be an advance ticket sale for Chase customers for the August 12th show starting on Monday, March 3rd, at 10:00 AM Eastern. There is no pre-order pre-sale for that show. On the other hand, there is a pre-order pre-sale for the August 13th show, starting March 4th (as we know). Of course, neither advance sale appears on the Ticketmaster listings for these concerts. We expect them to be added by Monday though.
We hope.
A little while after we posted about the Rolling Stone article earlier today, ToriAmos.com received a wee facelift. Banished is the stark black and white tone of the temporary theme put in place a few months ago and visitors are now greeted by the new album artwork and the new publicity photo which graces this article. The North American dates, including on-sales dates, were added as well, albeit on a separate page from the European dates. Go figger.
There will be pre-sales for all but one of the North American shows. This time around, those who pre-order the album from The Tori Store will be sent a code to participate in the pre-sale for a single concert. For each pre-order, you select the show that you want to purchase pre-sale tickets for and the code will be delivered via e-mail to you 24 hours prior to the pre-sale. It’s a little convoluted but, having just pre-ordered the album on vinyl, the process wasn’t too bad. The only show that is NOT having pre-order pre-sales is the first New York City show.
That said, having just gone through and adding all the new dates to our tour section, it turns out that there will be the usual assortment of venue, promoter, Live Nation and other miscellaneous pre-sales on top of the pre-order pre-sale. All the details that we could find from either venue, promoter or ticket agency websites have been added to our listing. We’ll keep those as updated as we can but please do contact us if you come across a detail we don’t have or find any incorrect information. We’re running on fumes here so we’d be disappointed if there weren’t at least a few typos to fix!
Finally, UK residents, there is a pre-order deal for you too! If you pre-order the deluxe edition from Universal Music, you will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of front row tickets for the May 15th show at London’s Royal Albert Hall and a meet and greet with Tori after the show. Not too shabby! All the legal terms and conditions for the contest are there for your reading pleasure if you’re suffering from insomnia.
Phew. Okay, enough excitement for tonight! Back on our heads!
I’ve always been inspired by visual artists of all mediums because, as with music, art is not a job you can go to and leave from, but it is something that defines who and what you are. Visual artists shake up our brains and force us to look at everything, from objects we don’t normally think twice about to people we might not have cared about. In one image, they can remind us of nature’s power to enchant, as well as humankind’s fruitless attempt to overpower her or simply second-guess her. Through the visual artist’s application of tone, shape, pattern and pigment, I not only begin to see, but I can honestly say I begin to hear.
Rolling Stone’s report about yesterday’s unveiling of the cover for Unrepentant Geraldines includes dates for the North American leg of the 2014 tour and confirmation of the album’s release on May 13th, as Amazon indicated when they added a listing for the record to the store. The article also mentions that the European leg “culminates” in Bucharest, Romania on June 19th.
The North American dates are listed below. We’ll get them All dates have been added to our tour section! as soon as we can!

This morning, ticket vendor MyTicket.ro is reporting that Tori Amos will be returning to Romania to perform at Arenele Romane in Bucharest on June 19th. The article indicates tickets for this concert will be going on sale on Friday, February 14th, though the time is not specified. Tickets will be available online via myticket.ro and through ticket offices at Diverta, Magazinul Muzica, and Libraria Mihai Eminescu.
The date is not up on ToriAmos.com yet but hopefully they will verify it soon.
Thanks Char for the tip!
Like everyone else, we’re still waiting for more details about Unrepentant Geraldines and the remaining dates on the tour supporting the record but a couple tidbits of information surfaced today that may shed some light on the mystery that is Tori’s upcoming 2014 release.
First, a listing was added at ticketing vendor Tickets.com for a concert on July 17th at The Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington. The listing itself is neither active nor visible but it will come up in the site search for Tori Amos tickets there. While this date does not appear on either the theatre’s event calendar or ToriAmos.com, Tickets.com is the ticketing agency used by The Paramount so we are inclined to think this date will turn out to be true.
Update: Unsurprisingly, that listing has been removed from the search results on Tickets.com.
Second, Klassik Akzente, a classical music website that picked up on Tori as a result of Night of Hunters, reported on Unrepentant Geraldines today. The article was, for the most part, a rehash of last November’s press release but, at the end, noted that the record would be released on Friday, May 16th. If this release date holds true, that would likely mean a UK release on Monday, May 19th and a North American release on Tuesday the 20th. The May 23rd release date noted by Australian retailer JB HIFI would fit into this schedule nicely as Australian release dates often lag Europe and North America by a week or so.
Whether or not these bits of news hold true, of course, remains to be seen. Hopefully there will be an official announcement soon!
(By the way, we’re fairly confident that the March 18th release date mentioned in The Toronto Sun is off-the-mark as the number of release they have coming out during the week of March 18th is quite extensive! Most likely, the last group of albums should have been grouped under “The Rest of the Year.”)
Thanks to Chris P, Noah, Char for tipping us off about the above!
