Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Two songs into tonight’s concert at de Doelen, Tori said to the audience that she had a lot of surprises for them and that more than turned out to the be the case — and then some!
Thanks to the efforts of @WhyNotCallMeRoe and @borinisuarez, we were able to follow along tonight’s set which featured the tour debuts of “Concertina,” “Don’t Make Me Come To Vegas,” “Digital Ghost,” and that old Y Kant Tori Read chestnut, “Fire on the Side.” And if playing a song from the so-called pop flop album for only the second time ever wasn’t enough of a surprise, the Lizard Lounge featured a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours-era b-side “Silver Springs” (happy birthday Stevie!) and the encore featured another first-time cover: Pat Benetar’s “Love is a Battlefield.” The remaining cover of the Lounge was Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m On Fire.” Srsly.
Perhaps more so than usual, we’d love to hear what those at this show thought of the performance. If you would like to share a review of the show, please do so using the form a tthe bottom of the Rotterdam page. As videos and photos surface or are sent our way, we’ll get them added there too.
While we didn’t have live coverage of tonight’s concert in Hamburg, we knew we could depend on the fine folks on Tori’s team to post a photo of the setlist after the gig ended and, sure enough, they came through!
Tonight’s show featured “Forest of Glass” and “Invisible Boy” from Unrepentant Geraldines, the beloved b-sides “Here. In My Head” and “Honey,” and the tour debut of “Father Lucifer.” The Lizard Lounge included Joni Mitchell’s “Circle Game” and Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and, to close out the main set, Tori segued “In the Springtime of His Voodoo” into The Beatles’ “The Long and Winding Road,” presumably as a nod to the city where the Fab Four honed their chops.
Reviews of the shows are always welcome! If you’d like to share your thoughts on the performance, please write up your reaction and send it in using the form at the bottom of the Hamburg page. As we come across videos and photos, we’ll be adding them there too.
The Unrepentant Geraldines Tour’s Scandinavian swing, which came to a close at Copenhagen’s Koncerthuset tonight, may have been short but it was certainly sweet.
Featuring the debuts of the touching “Oysters” and the unexpected “General Joy,” tonight’s concert also included covers of Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You” and Leonard Cohen’s “Suzanne” as well as “Apollo’s Frock,” “Selkie,” “China,” “Scarlet’s Walk,” and, to close out the night, “Tear In Your Hand.” Not a bad way to spend an evening, eh?
The complete setlist has been posted in the Tour section. Many thanks to @muskelmaria (again!) and @MrProgrammable for tweeting it our way so we could cover the show live on that there Intertubes! It’s always fun to see the sets unfold and we couldn’t do that without the help of those sending in the setlist.
We also can’t tell everything about a show just from what songs were played either. If you were there and would like to share your thoughts on the performance to help fill out everyone’s picture of the show, we’d love to hear from you! Just use the form at the bottom of the setlist page to send in a review.
It all started innocently enough tonight at Oslo’s Sentrum Scene. Tori opened the show with “Parasol,” as she has on each show of the tour so far. “Curtain Call” followed; uncommon but not previously not played. Three songs from the new album, “Trouble’s Lament,” “Wild Way,” and “Forest of Glass,” came early in the set — uncharacteristic based on other performances but no one didn’t expect songs from the new album to be played more often as both audiences and Tori became accustomed to the new material.
Pretty straight-forward stuff, right? But then everything got really weird.
The Lizard Lounge consisted of A Great Big World’s “Say Anything” and, a repeat from Frankfurt, Don Henley’s “The Boys of Summer.” The latter half of the main set, strung together “Little Earthquakes,” “Space Dog,” a mash-up of “Abnormally Attracted to Sin” and “Unrepentant Geraldines” (!!!), and “Sugar.” The energy of the main set continued into the encore which included “Precious Things,” “Raspberry Swirl,” and, for the second time ever, a-ha’s “Take On Me,” to close out the evening. Phew!
The only other time Tori’s played “Take On Me?” Oslo in 2011. Whatever it is the Norwegians have, we’ll take it!
The full setlist is up in the Tour section. Many thanks to @muskelmaria for tweeting the set our way and to Tori Tumblogger extraordinaire @EarWithFeet for providing extra details as well! We know there’s video of the “Abnormally Attracted to Sin”/“Unrepentant Geraldines” combo coming! That and any other media folks care to share will be posted there — along with all your reviews! Please send those in using the form at the bottom of the Oslo page!
It was a night of several amazing firsts in Berlin. Tori gave a great performance, covering Elton John’s “Someone Saved My Life Tonight” (first time this tour), Joni Mitchell’s “River,” and Blondie’s “The Tide Is High” (a first-time-ever-in-Toriphile-history treat!). Other surprises included the ever-crowd-pleasing “Purple People,” the public debuts of “Wedding Day” and the 2nd part of “Unrepentent Geraldines,” and the tour debut of “Space Dog.” WOW, WOW, WOW!
As always, if you attended this or any other show, you can submit a review on the show’s flashback page in the Tour section. And for those of you who aren’t aware, the “flashback” pages are archived versions of ALL the shows, containing setlists, reviews, videos, and photos. Videos are added as quickly as we can manage after they turn up; photos are added as you guys submit them for inclusion on the pages — we can’t track your photos down without your help! Info on how to submit videos and pics is included at the bottom of each flashback page.
Deepest thanks to @Gray_90 for sending us the setlist live via Twitter.
Tori’s songs are usually girls, but tonight the boys came out to party in Frankfurt. Covers of Don Henley’s “The Boys Of Summer,” Joe Jackson’s “Real Men,” and Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus” — all songs by men about men — brought a male perspective to the performance. Other songs included “Weatherman,” “Curtain Call,” and the tour debut of “Precious Things.”
Head over to the Tour section to see the complete setlist for this or any other show, and to submit reviews and to let us know about videos and photos so we can include them on the page.
Deepest appreciation to @lenoreva and @friedeworldwide for sending the setlist in to us on Twitter.
What a lovely show in Paris! Debuts included “Apollo’s Frock,” “Weatherman,” “Virginia,” and “Lady In Blue.” Covers were Carly Simon’s “Boys In The Trees” and Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer.”
To see the complete setlist for this (or any other) show, and/or to submit a review if you were in the audience, visit the flashback page in the Tour section. If you have any photos or come across a video, let us know and we’ll add those as well.
Many thanks to @clemgiu and @ToriAmosFrance for sending the setlist in to us live via Twitter.
The London show is in the bag, and it sounded amazing. Tour debuts of “Sugar,” “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Hey Jupiter,” and “Rattlesnakes” thrilled longtime fans. Other highlights were “Invisible Boy,” “Little Earthquakes,” and “Mr. Zebra.”
Head over to the flashback page in the Tour section to see the full setlist for this (or any other) show and to submit a review if you were there. Videos and photos will be added to that page as they turn up.
Many thanks to @iammatthewwolf, @1Tipsy, and @Salgado_Andrew for sending the setlist in to us on Twitter.
It was bound to happen sooner or later — there was no cell service in Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall so no one was unable to send setlist updates as the show unfolded.
Of course, we know what that means: waiting until the next day for people to make their ways home, sleep, wake up and e-mail the songs played to the really-deep-thoughts mailing list so that Mikewhy could get things updated on The Dent…naaaah! Just kidding! We all just had to wait until after the show ended for folks to emerge and post pictures and updates to social media and for Tori’s team to post the setlist itself to Instagram. Just like olden days!
But seriously, the complete setlist has been posted in the Tour section. The show included several tour debuts: “Cooling”, “Little Earthquakes,” “Jamaica Inn,” “Scarlet’s Walk,” and “Black Dove (January Girl).” During the Lizard Lounge, Tori played two rather different covers: Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” and Cat Stevens’ “Moonshadow.” Finally, the only song from Unrepentant Geraldines that was performed was “Forest of Glass,” the bonus track on the deluxe edition of the album’s CD release! (“Trouble’s Lament” and “Selkie” were on the written setlist but dropped in favor of “Take To The Sky” and “Pretty Good Year.”)
There’s been some reaction on social media and the forums about this show but, if you were there, we’d love to hear what you thought of the evening as well. Drop a review on us using the form at the bottom of the show’s page. As always, media is always welcome too — we’ll add what we can find but if you have any to share, please get in touch.
Many thanks to @RockettNeil, @mrgjjackson, @J1990H, @ondayslikethese, and @amygroak for sending us post-show updates on Twitter!
It’s practically sunrise in Birmingham as we write this so perhaps it’s a bit late for a concert recap but it would be remiss not to summarize the concert in Brum last night.
On the day Unrepentant Geraldines was released in the UK, Tori took the stage at the Symphony Hall and, following the pattern of the previous shows on the tour so far, played a set spanning width and breadth of her oeuvre. The show included the first performance of “Invisible Boy” as well as two other songs from the new record: “Trouble’s Lament” and “Wild Way.” She also dipped into the back catalog with old favorites like “Winter,” “Tear In Your Hand,” “Cornflake Girl,” “Playboy Mommy,” and “Pretty Good Year.” The covers played during the Lizard Lounge were Joni Mitchell’s “Circle Game” and U2’s “Running To Stand Still.”
Despite the lack of cellular service, @rougeforever valiantly updated us with the songs played in real-time and the complete setlist has been posted in the Tour section. Reviews are welcome! If you were there and would like to share your thoughts on the performance, please do so using the comment form there. Photos and video links are welcome too.
